The idea behind the game is incredible. Being able to create your own hero is an excellent feature and makes the experience much more immersive. I really enjoy the freedom and creativity the game offers.
However, the processing time for actions is way too slow. It takes too long for the game to process decisions and actions, which can make the experience frustrating and break the immersion. If the processing speed were improved, the game would be much more enjoyable.

AI taking over
The game was good I played for a few hours but I saw a pattern of the back stories always turning negative or tragic when it doesn’t have to be in later chapters, and the only imagination involved was just creating the hero and nothing else it got old fast so I unsubscribed immediately after the third hero I built. Let the AI have them they aren’t mine.

Bug fix
Please fix the issue with the ads. Every single time I watch an ad, the close (X) button does not work, leaving me completely stuck with no way to return to the game. I am forced to close the app entirely and restart it.
This is not an occasional glitch. It happens every time, and it has caused me to lose hours of progress as well as Eternium I have earned or spent. That makes an otherwise enjoyable game incredibly frustrating to play.
I understand that ads are part of the game, but watching an ad should never result in the player being trapped on the advertisement and forced to restart the entire app. More importantly, players should not be losing significant amounts of progress or in-game currency because of a broken ad interface.
Please address this issue. A malfunction this consistent and this disruptive seriously impacts the experience of an otherwise great game.

Taleborn makes every character and adventure feel personal. I love creating original heroes, developing their stories, upgrading their skills and equipment, and testing different strategies in solo battles, duo fights, and dungeons. The battles feel cinematic, while the variety of builds gives me plenty to think about between fights. It’s imaginative, addictive, and unlike any other RPG I’ve played. I’m excited to see how it continues to grow!

Good fun but….
This game is engaging and can be played for free. It’s engaging though you don’t see any combat unless you pay for it to generate comic strips. My only complaint is that you can’t upload photots of your heros like you can with other apps of this nature, though this is the best one like this. The only thing keeping me from giving it five stars is the fact that I can’t upload my own photos.

I’ve been playing the game/app for a long time now and honestly I never get tired of it, it has a great community that comes together to share stories about the heroes we make and they just keep updating it!!! More and more stuff to do! And now with guild you can play with your friends and make your own guild! I can’t wait to see what they do next!

I absolutely love this game, its a breath of fresh air with full freedom of character creation via a.i power and great depth if you have a good imagination, it just sucks that people can report your character and it instantly gets deleted, seems like a cheap way to get rid of strong characters so they have a better chance at winning 😔

Storytelling until the arena takes over
I enjoy coming up with an interesting concept and background and seeing how it writes the description and art. The basic background stories are quite cliche so I use a custom generated one. Guided stories can be fun as well, and you can write characters with interconnected backgrounds that reference other heroes you,have, though the system wants to write overly heavy emotions and it takes reminding every chapter to keep a different tone. In addition, the game steers everyone to this pan-dimensional arena setting, which means the last chapter and a half are always the same and take away significance of the origin worlds. A self-contained background ending within the chosen realm would be more interesting for those of us wanting story. The arena part appeals to me very little and I don't care about tournaments. I would rather continue stories in the realm I picked and feel like the hero exists in that setting.

This may be the first review I’ve ever given, but it is so well deserved. This game is genuinely the best game I have ever came across. Sure there are a few bugs, but what can you expect it’s a newer game by a solo developer. The dev releases updates nearly every day trying to fix bugs users notice. The dev truly cares about the users gameplay. Additionally I personally don’t think there are a ton of ads, ads are needed for the game to be free and I know a lot of games by bigger developers with 10x the amount of ads. Definitely give this game a go you can see how hard the dev works to improve the game for the users!

It’s rather detailed and allows you to custom create your character 100%, anyway you can imagine.

It’s pretty good for now I like the battle system on here that tells the story after the battle and it can generate an image or comic panel of the fight pretty cool

Absolutely beautiful game, the mechanics are so deep and the lore is incredibly rich. They have truly built a whole world here and it’s really something that should be recognized. I have never played anything like this!
A good use of AI
I do a lot of world building in my free time, so I had a ton of characters i wanted to make, and the AI managed to get them about 80% accurate. There’s only so much it can do with a description, and u have to choose a premade realm for them to come from so that limits it a bit, but it’s understandable. There’s only so image generator is fine, but doesn’t work well for non human characters. My giant sea serpent randomly got arms and legs in a couple of its background stories, and I can’t get my plant parasite to look right. Other than these minor grievances the game is great. There’s only so combat system uses classes of skills (ex.pierce, or sweep) to choose who wins a fight, so you can’t just make an invincible character and just win, which is great because most of my characters are a bit more grounded than most others characters. I can’t wait to see what else the dev adds to it.

Twelve characters, each losing every fight even when maxing out their gear and levels, against players who just started. It used to be fun, but can’t enjoy a game that is a loss every time.

Sign In Option Questionable
The only way to play is to sign in with either my Google account or my Apple account. I feel that is a direct threat to my security allowing a totally unknown company to have access to these accounts. I will not agree to that.
Seriously, what is your unhinged and completely random moderation
Supposed “provocative” content is okay, yet the word swimsuit isn’t. Swimsuit. Even with a contest that is literally about dressing a character FOR THE BEACH. Despite that, thousands of character images are practically naked in those very swimsuits. What the actual f are you guys even doing? Make up your mind it’s either allowed or it’s not.
Also, the devs are major hypocrites or just not very smart. They say “no sexual content” yet they themselves have put in stuff about brothels and literally entire factions of courtesans.

Crashing
Play this game if you like game breaking bugs that make your premium resource disappear, hanging loadwheels of death, and crashes to desktop. Oh and I post this review weekly but admin keeps taking it down.

Enjoy all aspects of the game, especially character creation and how much liberty you have in creating, ads are tolerable but sometimes ad plays and after it’s done, nothing happens and have to watch another ad so you can keep progress going, that’s pretty much only complaint about ads I have
