A game of enjoyment and integrity!
So far I have sunk a few hours into this game under a few different profiles, just to try out the different play styles. Don’t let this games simplistic art style fool you, not only does it grow on you, but it disguises a level of complexity that I haven’t seen in many modern games. Not only does it hold to the principle of “Absolutely no pay to win” but it offers many, many hours of free to play content straight up, in fact if you spend any money on this game at all, it will only be because you want to! Give this game a go, I promise you, it is worth it! And support the Dev, only if you want to!

Until the developer decides he wants to revisit his moderator team on this game I can’t recommend it anymore. As a game that advertises itself as “family friendly” and “safe,” there shouldn’t be a moderator with access to users private information who also goes through the discord to find anyone who *might* be women to send sexually explicit pictures to.

I label this game as a new startup akin to RuneScape. There is so much depth, details, and death ahead to all adventurers. The community is amazing and will answer the simplest questions to helping/guiding/partying up to help a fellow adventurer. Hop on now or feel the FOMO!!!!
Amazing game
Been playing for nearly 9 months now and can’t get enough of this game, there’s so much to do from combat to questing to gathering. It’s also super easy to switch up your gear and stats to change your play style if your current one isn’t hitting quite the same. My favourite part is definitely the fishing though, there are some really rare fish you can find that give you such a sense of achievement when you finally find them. But even if that’s not your cup of tea there’s plenty of lore, quests, npcs, places to experience and ways to play. You really can play it yore way. This is all without even mentioning how great the me community is, everyone is willing to help out or give advice when you ask and is just a breath of fresh air compared to most other games.
All in all, i would highly recommend checking it out and saying hello to all the great people in the land of Yore.

Truly love this game
This game is fantastic. For the gamers who didn’t grow up with old school graphics it might take a moment to get used to it but once you embrace them and all the systems interweaved you’ll find a wonderful challenging game. For the veterans of RuneScape, ultima online and other games with skilling you are in for a treat.
The game starts with a tutorial then you are left to fend for yourself. There’s some quests to pick up to get some gold for a weapon wether you want to play as a mace wielder, bowman, ninja throwing stars type, your standard mage or the timeless swordsman there is much freedom.
There is fishing, gathering plants, pets and mounts, digging treasures, mining, woodcutting, brewing potions there is a lot to do!
The best part is that the community is super helpful and welcoming. Lots of players on every day to answer your questions or assist in quests and because it’s still early days you can feel part of a new rpg adventure that’s still developing.

Quality little RPG
It is reminiscent of old MMORPGs like RuneScape and tibia, but it has a modern streamlined interface. It is surprisingly deep with a reasonably large and often dangerous world to explore (with regular updates), and combat options that expand as your character grows more powerful. It has friend players, and nearly always enough on for someone to help you out.

Back to the basics
This is a difficult RPG that doesn’t hold your hand. Yes it is just tapping, but has more depth akin to OSRS and potential as well. This is your new addiction from Orna haha.
A multiplayer must play
You’re not gonna find another MMO on the App Store that has as dedicated of a developer as this one does, or a game that is as F2P with no P2W as this one is. Yore is 100% worth your time to give it a go and see for yourself what the game is about. This is truly a sandbox adventure-type game where the goals are set by you and only you. It’s a game where you’re meant to explore and figure out things on your own; fail at something and try again with the knowledge you learned. An absolutely adorable game with an incredible amount of depth as long as you’re willing to be curious.

A dull, confused start
Been playing games since the intellivision- while this looks like an intellivision the game plays rather dull. Seems like it might be fun if not for the unclear directions, and unrewarding grinding. I’m coming from 150 hrs in hero of Aethric expecting a similar fun grinding experience though progression here is at a EverQuest 1 speed while lacking a steady sense of achievement or variety. To its merit it has a great community and semi-decent wiki (which you’ll be constantly looking as the game tutorial is very unclear). Made a it few (5 hours in until the lack of direction or hint at direction and sluggish, repetitive , dull and Ultimately unrewarding grinding literally had me struggling to stay awake. I’d get timed quests to places I’d never heard of or ones to kill monsters that can one shot me, even completed a beginner quest to earn a sword which upon calculating would take five or more hours of mindless grinding just to even meet the minimum requirements to be able to equip it. Combine all of this with an extremely punishing death penalty and sudden death, even for new players and you just get something that isn’t fun- I entered a cave on the first map out of town and my level 6 character was one shot, lost all my items and gold …and will to play. the game is made and tailored to those already with tons of hours into it or those who enjoy being punished for exploration. It has good bones just horrible incentive and execution…no wonder everyone online was either level 5 or endgame. Well the community seems nice at least.

Been looking for a long time…
…for a game like this. Simple mmorpg in portrait mode that isnt intimidating to jump into and does ftp right.
needs serious balance work
the game is a lot of fun even though the interface takes a bit of work to get used to. but enemies are extremely unbalanced at higher levels and the game punishes you very heavily for dying. it's exceptionally bad if you use more than one weapon as anything unequipped you lose when you die. expect to spend dozens of hours grinding crafting skills up so you can make anything beyond the most basic stuff. it probably deserves more than 2 stars but the literal wall you hit in progression and difficulty is frustrating and seems pretty unnecessary.

Hey, can you give me some more details on where you hit the wall, I'd like to address it as soon as possible. The penalty for death is very much intentional to make death matter.
Fun, but needs some work
Game is fun and I like it a lot however my only major complaint other than there not being that many players bc the game is small is that it doesn’t run on my iphone 7, understandable because my phone is so old, but it runs fine on my ipad. Overall 7/10 game, it’s quite fun.

Guys, this is a gem so far
For reference, I’ve played the game about 3 hours or so. Maybe a smidge more, it’s hard to say. It is very much an exploration game, kind of reaching out into the world discovering where the tough zones are and what you are building up for, to then go further and complete more quests. Loving the pacing, loving the combat grinding and the rewarding feel of the higher level weapons.
This reminds me of when I first picked up RuneScape when I was 11, just exploring and playing. I can’t wait to get into the higher level gameplay.

Played Legends of Yore years ago
I played the other game years ago. Then I got sad when it was removed from the app store. But here it is again, better than ever!
Fantastic old school RPG
Even in it’s WIP form, Tales of Yore it a hit. It’s got everything you want from an old school top down rpg. Balance, wide variety of enemies, quests, fighting styles, places to explore… a solid all around game. ALREADY.

Neat little game
Completely free game that’s simple to play.
It’s cross platform with pc so I can hop on my computer at home to continue questing.
No overwhelming grind, no pay to win mechanics, and no waiting for build/crafting times. This is not a time sink.
The game is still under development so there’s more on the way, however what’s here is pretty great.

Old school vibes, multiplayer done right
Picked this up and immediately binge-played for several hours. It’s still early in development, but there’s at least 6+ hours of content already. I love the art style, the personality of the locations, the music is spot-on. The quests are simple but well written and most of them link together so there’s a good sense of accomplishment every time you make progress.
The multiplayer is actually really cool. Your friends/random people can help you, buff you with spells or just chat and give advice. I believe it’s a cross platform server. There’s no pvp. Very good community so far. Would recommend trying it out. Hope the dev continues to support this.
