About

Talkey encrypts email end to end. It encrypts the message text and attachments into a single Talkey.mtm attachment that you send from your usual email address. Only the recipient it was encrypted for can read it – your email provider sees just an encrypted attachment. WORKS WITH YOUR EMAIL • Hand the message off to the Mail app, or let Talkey send it directly through your mail server (IMAP/SMTP, Exchange, Gmail). • Talkey does not change your mailbox or address and works with any email provider. • Open a received Talkey.mtm attachment in Talkey and the message is decrypted. • Talkey finds the recipients' public keys on its own – there is nothing to exchange. CONTROL EVEN AFTER SENDING • Open only within a time range – outside the chosen window the message will not open. • Limit the number of openings. • Close and destroy after viewing – with a countdown from the moment it is opened. • Remote destruction – invalidate a message at any time, even after it has been delivered. • Prevent reply and forwarding. TLP CLASSIFICATION Label messages with the Traffic Light Protocol 2.0 (RED, AMBER+STRICT, AMBER, GREEN, CLEAR). For TLP:RED, Talkey does not allow forwarding or copying to other recipients. For RED and AMBER it warns about recipients outside your organization, for GREEN about addresses on public email services. VERIFIED SENDER Every message is signed. Talkey shows who signed it and the fingerprint of their key, which you can compare with the other person – over the phone, for example. YOUR KEYS • Your private key is created on your device. Unlock the app with your password or Face ID / Touch ID. • Back up your key to a file and move it to another device with a one-time code. • Companies can manage and back up keys on Talkey Enterprise Server. RECIPIENTS WITHOUT TALKEY If a recipient does not have Talkey yet, invite them straight from the new message. They get a link by email and an activation password by text message. MORE • Search including the text of encrypted messages, and custom folders. • Light and dark theme, English, Czech and Polish. • Talkey is also available for Mac.
