This is the biggest Talkie update so far. AI CALL ASSISTANT (PRO) Make a phone call without speaking. Tell Talkie who you are calling and why, and it handles the conversation. Listen in live, steer it, or type exactly what should be said. Afterwards you get a transcript with a summary, and you can save the appointment straight into Reminders. READ ALONG LIVE Share a six-digit code and the person you are talking to reads along in real time on their own screen. New: voice messages inside the conversation, and video alongside it. REBUILT SOUNDBOARD • Place tiles anywhere in the grid, and choose your own number of columns. • Single words automatically become a flowing sentence. • ARASAAC pictograms, image search on the web, and one tile generator for everything. • A folder can now be a board of its own. • Full-screen boards, and a movable toolbar on tablet. • Discover ready-made boards from others and share your own. REMINDERS REBUILT Search with filters, calendar items at the top, photos, a location that taps through to your maps app, repeating patterns, and notifications that keep nudging until you tick them off. New: voice memos, and asking a question about your own reminders. APPLE WATCH AND WIDGET A full Watch app with your tiles, your history and recording from your wrist. Scroll with the crown, open a tile full screen, and turn your wrist so the other person can read along. Plus a widget for your reminders. RECORDING AND TRANSCRIPTION Recordings with no time limit for conversations and meetings, with transcription (PRO). Speech recognition moved to Google STT and OpenAI Whisper. ALSO NEW • Live camera mode and PDF read-aloud. • LED banner with styles, effects and dot-matrix. • Stories in a new full-screen view, with a cover photo and automatic read-aloud. • Short explainer clips on the screens where you need them. FIXED Reminders fired an hour off around daylight saving time.
