DO NOT DOWNLOAD APP
I contacted Apple Support and was able to document that I contacted them less than 30 minutes after I had downloaded the app, and was being billed by this app.
I did not sign up explicitly sign up for a trial period with Talking Pet AI. I did not even have a chance to use the app to see if I wanted to keep it.
(Normally, when I download apps, I put a note in my calendar to delete the app within three days if I’m not satisfied with the app. I had no reason to do that with this app because I did not initiate a trial period.)
So buyer beware. If you download Talking Pet AI, YOU MAY BE CHARGED IMMEDIATELY, no trial period, no opportunity to delete. Apple is reviewing this. Even if I get a refund, I want to warn others who may be billed without their permission.
I have emailed and called the developer and received no response. (If this is a duplicate of my review, my first one appears to have been deleted)

We're also sorry you haven't heard back from us; that isn't the standard we hold ourselves to. Subscriptions and refunds for App Store purchases are managed by Apple rather than by us, so we can't process one directly, but we do want to look into what happened on our side.
