There is no sound. Shaking has no effect. Doesn’t respond to text entered. Start arrow has no effect

I downloaded this app because I was looking for a audible clock. I like the features shown, but they don’t work. I have an iPhone 13 Pro with iOS 17.0.3. Maybe an older version of iOS will work for others.
