1.1.7

New: Camera Translation Photograph a menu, sign, or notice, and TalkPin erases the original text and writes the translation in its place — in the same size, weight, color, and angle — so it reads as if it had been printed in your language. • Menus still read like menus — every line gets its own translation, and prices and numbers stay exactly as they are. • Vertical text, too — reads vertical Japanese and Chinese signs and menus (iOS 26 or later). • Compare with a tap — tap any block to flip between the original and the translation. • Sharp when zoomed — pinch or double-tap, and the zoomed area is redrawn at full resolution. • Switch languages without retaking — change languages and the same photo is translated again right away. • Sideways shots, handled — photos taken sideways are turned upright automatically, and one button rotates them further. • Translate photos you already have — pick one from your library. • Save in full resolution — store the translated photo in your photo library. More convenient • TalkPin remembers your last language pair, so it starts right where you left off. • A new translation model now powers voice, text, and camera translation. More stable, more private • Leave the app mid-session and TalkPin wraps up the interpretation, saving the conversation recognized so far. • Speech recognition uses about 0.4 GB less memory and loads only when needed, so iOS is less likely to close the app. • The voice detection model now ships inside the app — no network requests at all, not even on first launch.
