Volume goes out
Edited 8/18/26: As of the app’s June 2026 update, the app’s volume goes mute shortly after. Restarting it only fixes it for a few minutes. There are no other fixes. This will cause frustration. It occurred on both older and new models. The bug needs to be patched. Would also be good to add another child’s voice, like the old Josh voice.

FYI, you are using an outdated version. Also, you can make as many backups as you want. They are unlimited and continue to be free of charge, as are the premium Apple voices. If you have any concerns, please call us at 360-303-3356.
Bad update
This update removed the “Josh” voice I paid for! The other options are creepy. I did see a Joelle voice that is acceptable but still not what I paid for. Also you have a limited amount of states to save. A user should be able to save states at any time!

The update to TalkTablet PRO uses Apple's Siri voices which are better quality than the old non-Apple third voices like Josh....at NO cost. Also, our customers can make unlimited backups to our cloud server at no charge.

We’ve been using TalkTablet for our nonverbal patients for over 7 years. It has made a profound difference in their lives.
Good app
The apps nice with pages to choose from the ability to make your own page. Wished it had a word finder and that it would snap back to the home page. I also found the vocabulary to be limiting at times.
Quite remarkable
Much easier to use then the speech app our school originally suggested...which I can’t pronounce. Our daughter loves TalkTablet and we’ve never seen her happier. She is able to add her own buttons which gives her a real sense of purpose. Highly recommended.
Love the new features
This AAC app sets the bar very high. Our school system has moved over from P2G to TalkTablet. Lots of great features but the selling point was ease of use. No other mainstream AAC app is this intuitive to use or easy to train.
