About

TallyWorth — your whole financial picture, tracked your way Every account you own, in one clean view. Bank, brokerage, crypto, retirement, real estate, vehicles, valuables, credit cards, loans, mortgages — TallyWorth pulls them all together into a single net worth number, and shows you exactly how it's moved over time. No bank logins. No data aggregator. No subscription. Portfolio Performance — is your money actually growing? Value vs. Net Contributions shows how your brokerage and retirement accounts have really performed, separating the money you put in from the growth the market delivered. Pick the accounts you want to include, choose a timeframe, and see your gain or loss and rate of return for that period. Contribution figures can be read from your statements or entered by hand. Retirement Outlook Tell TallyWorth your age, target retirement age, desired income, and risk tolerance, and get a plain-English assessment of where you stand based on your own account data. It's an educational estimate, not financial advice — but it's a much better conversation starter than a napkin. Statement reminders — never miss a month Statement Status shows which accounts are due for a fresh balance. Turn on reminders and TallyWorth notifies you the morning a statement is due, or shows the number of overdue accounts on the app icon. Both are optional, off by default, and scheduled right on your device — no server, no account. AI-powered statement import — using your own key Upload a bank or brokerage PDF statement and let AI extract the balance, holdings, and transactions automatically. Choose the engine that works for you: Claude, Gemini, ChatGPT, or Apple's on-device Apple Intelligence, which never sends anything off your device. Every import goes through a reconciliation screen first — you see exactly what changed and approve it before anything is saved. Nothing gets imported blind. You're always asked first Before any third-party AI engine sees your data, TallyWorth tells you what will be sent, who will receive it, and asks for your permission. Say no and nothing leaves your device. Built for people who actually want to see the trend Net Worth Over Time chart with independently-scaled axes, so both your balances and your trend line show real detail instead of getting flattened into a shy little squiggle Seven timeframe views — from the last month to the last three years — same chart, zoomed to whichever story you're trying to see Daily trend view with scrub-to-inspect on iOS and hover on Mac A net worth sparkline on the iPhone summary card, so the trend is always in sight Every account's balance history and individual transactions, laid out together in one chronological timeline Account breakdown and asset allocation donuts, with drill-down by holding type Period-over-period change tracking, so you always know what moved and by how much Your data stays yours TallyWorth has no backend and no subscription. Your financial data lives on your devices and syncs across them through your own iCloud account. AI features are optional and use your own API key, stored in your device's Keychain. If you choose Claude, Gemini, or ChatGPT, the statement or figures you select go directly from your device to that provider, never through any server of ours, and only after you agree. Full JSON backup and restore, whenever you want it, no lock-in. Flexible entry, your way Add balances manually, import transactions from CSV with automatic duplicate detection, or let AI read your statements for you. Mix and match per account — nobody tracks their whole financial life the same way, and TallyWorth doesn't force you to either. Built natively for Mac and iPhone with SwiftUI, so it feels like it belongs on your devices instead of like a spreadsheet wearing a costume. TallyWorth: know what you're worth, without handing your bank logins to anyone to find out.

What's New in TallyWorth

1.3.40

October 28, 2026

Version 1.3.40 NEW • Statement reminders: turn on notifications in Settings and TallyWorth will tell you the morning an account's statement is due, right when it turns amber in Statement Status. You can also show the number of overdue accounts as a badge on the app icon. Both are optional, off by default, and scheduled on your device. Tapping a reminder opens Statement Status. • iPhone: a net worth sparkline on the summary card, so your trend is always in view. • iPhone: the net worth summary card now stays pinned above the Net Worth Chart and Asset Allocation pages. IMPROVED • Statement "due" tracking is now based on your actual balance history, so the amber warnings are more accurate, and importing a PDF can no longer move an account's last statement date backward. • Mac: fixed a doubled dropdown arrow on the chart style and time-range menus. • iOS: sheets now scroll properly, and the AI consent buttons stay pinned to the bottom of the screen. • Fixes and stability improvements, including a repair for duplicate export IDs that could trip up backup restore.
