What's New in Talrik

1.5.0

October 6, 2026

• Post to W Social alongside Bluesky and Mastodon using your W Social account and the AT Protocol • W Social and Blacksky accounts now show their own names and site icons in Accounts, Compose, and post history instead of being labeled Bluesky • Improved long AT Protocol threads: replies keep the correct thread root, and post links open the first part rather than the last reply • Thread parts now receive distinct timestamps to improve their visibility in profile feeds • Fixed the image alt-text editor’s placeholder alignment on iOS

New challenger to Croissant

I've been using Croissant as my crossposter for awhile now, but have gotten frustrated with it's inconsistency in handling threads so gave this a whirl.

I like the design of the app; it's snappy & iOS-forward! With that said, it isn't as feature complete as the other app, & threads aren't supported yet. But these are early days, & I welcome a new face in this niche of a niche space. For single posts, this may be all you need! Looking forward to future development, keep up the good work!
