Amazing place to stay in the central of Tamarinda. Restaurants and shops within walking distance. The condo has everything you will need for a short or long stay. The amenities are amazing the pool is huge and the bar serves great drinks. This place is the best!

Costa Rica is magical
Stayed at this beautiful resort for my sisterās wedding and it was truly breathtaking. Everyone was so friendly, welcoming and helpful. I will definitely be returning! The best views!
My holiday
A great hotel, very clean, good service, good food. A big hotel but not too big to look after the individual. Nothing is too much trouble regarding the guests needs.

I have some constructive criticism
I would really like to give you a higher reading but here are my instructive criticism that I think will help future reviews.
1) I detest not being able to get coffee in the lobby or through out the evening. Worse than that, having to go to the bar, be ignored, brought the smallest coffee in the worldā¦. And not being able to charge into my room because when I checked in they didnāt ask me if I wanted an open account they just took my credit card and did nothing with it other than bill the room.
2) The toilet ran all night long and you canāt call the front desk on the telephone thatās in the room.
3) when you go to the lobby report that you have a running toilet and they send someone up it doesnāt get fixed the first time and you have to go back down to the lobby to report it a second time because the phone in the room doesnāt work.
4) when you order dinner and a salad as an entrĆ©e and a meal shows up but no saladā¦. They donāt understand why you donāt still want to salad.
5) iām sure a lot of Europeans like espresso cough probably a lot of American tooā¦.. but I like a coffee maker in the room not an espresso machine
6) and this one really bothers me the quoted reservation was $100 less than when the gentleman at the front counter told me that he was gonna give me a 10% discount Iām not quite sure how that worked outā¦.but why did the price go up
7) back to the meal. My buddy ordered exactly the same thing as I did except the steak which cooks differently and of course I got his steak and he got mine

Form over function
Tamarindo Diria Resort is a beautiful venue, no question about it. It has the elegance of a Las Vegas resort. A huge amount of effort is made to maintain this property, with leaves falling all the time, regular rain, and many guests.
Service from the front desk is spotty. The restaurant is wonderful, the people working on the patio are wonderful. The housekeepers do a nice job, but I think they are ghosts, I never see them!
Problem lies in the amount of noise at night. Whether itās from Tamarindo Beach Resort, or elsewhere, the noise is so loud that my white noise machine cannot override it. Trying to sleep is impossible, making me tired and incredibly grouchy during the day. I talked to the front desk, and the response was a shrug of the shoulders and a platitude of āoh well.ā They made no effort whatsoever to argue that the noise was present, or that they had quieter rooms. This has been worst service Iāve ever experienced in Costa Rica.
My room was nice, but it was loaded with mosquitoes. I spent two weeks in the jungles and I can see was a question that I have more mosquito bites from my room than I received during my entire journey. The bed sheets were the wrong size for the bed, so the bottom sheet continuously pulled up and the top she barely talked into the mattress therefore it pulled loose quickly. This is especially important because the air conditioner blows directly on the bed and there are no other options.
So I leave this beautiful resort is bitter sweet emotions, I canāt wait to get out of here so I can get some sleep, but sitting on the patio by the ocean is so beautiful!
