This has definitely been the most helpful app to learn conversational Tamil! All of the phrases and words in the beginning are relevant and in an easy to understand format with the words written in english and Tamil!

Purchased additional words and download fails
On iOS, I purchased the additional words, and it’s unable to download the additional content. I contacted the developer a week ago and haven’t heard anything. Maybe the app is abandonware? Would be great to have some basic support for purchases. Disappointing.
Duolingo
Nemo is a good app but I can’t get myself to use it. If it was more like Duolingo it would be better. By winning awards I feel better about myself.

This app is boring. All you do is repeat after the lady. You should make it into a fun game and then I’ll rate you better

I can’t really do without this app ..... people tell me there are plenty of others like this but I say no ! Not so good as Nemo and not so easy and user friendly.

I think this app is great. It would be even better if there was is a quiz mode to help me memorize and remember the words.

Best Tamil Learning App
This is a really great app for learning Tamil. I am an American living in Southern India and this app has helped me a lot. This app has a lot of features and categories which are well organized. I have spotted a few “confusions” though. For example, in the numbers category, the term that they use for the word “half” isn’t exactly the word you would use for a measurement (eg. “half kilogram.”) Instead, it is another sense of the word “half” which would be used in a different way, sort of like the English prefix “semi-“. I have noticed confusions like this here and there, but really, I don’t think this type of thing could be avoided. You just have to learn the language because not all things can be explained in full detail in the app. All in all, this is the BEST Tamil language learning app I have found and I use it all the time. A+ I would love to see more words and phrases become available in an update in the near future.

Was one of the best apps I’ve used to learn a language. Found it very easy to learn pronunciations on this. Haven’t purchased the extension yet but I will do at one stage to learn more

May not be for the serious person
I don't believe this app was created for people who wanted to learn the language. The words or phrase are not the everyday words... don't get me wrong... it has the standard good Morning, evening and good night, coupled with the ever famous hello...
