Tamiya magazine.
Bit plane and armour heavy, considering they do two other mags that only cover those subjects. Needs more civilian vehicles, boats, figures and sci-fi.
Good in depth articles with good photos. One advantage of the digital edition is being able to zoom in on details.

Very good app. Works as it should and reading mags is no problem.

Best way to read!
This is hands down the best way to keep up with the scale model world. In depth articles and reviews of the best models coming out. For me, reading on my iPad makes it even better allowing me to zoom in to look at the details. I recommend this to all that love plastic models.

The Very Best Modelling Magazine
TMMI has always set the standard, by which other scale modelling magazines have strived to emulate.
A well formatted publication; filled with informative articles and subject matter.
The finish of all models is of the highest quality found anywhere.
My only (slight) criticism; would be for the print version of the magazine, to use higher quality paper.

Nach Abo-Ende auch gekaufte Titel nicht mehr verfügbar
Habe das Abo der Zeitschrift nach 6 Monaten auslaufen lassen, weil ich nur noch Einzelhefte kaufen möchte. Der Grund dafür ist, dass mich nur wenige Artikel wirklich interessieren und die Zeitschrift leider mit Werbung vollgestopft ist. Also wollte ich das Magazin nur selektiv beziehen.
Sehr negativ ist: Nach Ablauf sind nun alle bereits (mit dem Abo) bezahlten Ausgaben wieder kostenpflichtig. Was soll das? Warum soll ich für Ausgaben doppelt bezahlen, nur weil ich kein Abonnent mehr bin? Ich bin der Meinung, ein "lebenslanges Leserecht" erworben zu heben. Das scheint aber nicht der Fall zu sein, obwohl das nirgends erwähnt wird.
Mein Fazit: Nicht Empfehlenswert!

War mal besser . …
Grundsätzlich bin ich ein echter Fan der digitalen Zeitschriften. Nach einem der letzten Updates ist das Lesevergnügen aber nicht mehr das, was es mal war.
Da die Zeitschrift jetzt nicht mehr erst komplett geladen wird, sondern im Hintergrund, passiert es häufiger (und ich habe eine wirklich schnelle Internetverbindung!!), dass ich ewig auf das laden einer Seite warten muss.
Redaktionell bemängele der Chef, dass die Möglichkeiten der Interaktivität null ! Genutzt werden. Keine Hyperlinks, keine Möglichkeit, sich Textpassagen zu kopieren oder auch nur zu markieren, um sie direkt in eine Google-Suche einzubinden oder dergleichen.
Das sind vertane Chancen.

Great magazine
good magazine and the app support has always been first rate. Only downside I have seen is that the app doesn't tell you if you are logged in or not, and it crashes a bit for me (although I am still using a first gen iPad ).

Excellent magazine covering many aspects of modelling
Not bad but a few flaws
Good magazine with a range of subjects. Spellchecking/ syntax could do with improving though. The app itself works most of the time but sometimes you need to delete and reload an issue on first download as they won't open. There's also an issue with the app crashing when zooming.

Excellent magazine, no surprise really, excellent products too. Have been building them for 40 years and they are as good now as they have ever been. Rare in this world, where so many things are being cheapened.

Great magazine and on-screen version gives you a chance to browse before purchase.......just like being in a proper store. Tamiya are at the top of the modelling tree but this app does need to be sorted. Loading problems should be sorted by now. Come on guys, get a grip.
