Major Bug
I was so wanting to love this app, but after paying $5.99 I feel I was ripped off. Once you click on the page to see the steps to create a tangle the only way back to look at other tangles is to close out of the app completely and start over. Very frustrating. I’d like a refund please!
Just needs a tweak
I love this but every time I look at the method of doing a pattern on my iPad, I can not find a way back to the pattern list. There seems to be no ‘back’ arrow. Am I missing something? If that was fixed it would be 5 stars without doubt.

Not currently working
I used to love this app and got a lot of use out of it, but now, as of Feb 2026, I find that it no longer works. If I choose a pattern, if I go to the instructions, there is no way to get back to the main screen to choose another pattern. I actually have to either delete and reinstall the app or do a restart of my phone or ipad. Not sure when the last update was, but it does not work currently, even though my phone and ipad are both updated.

No navigation buttons
The app seems great, but without navigation buttons, it is impossible to use. Please fix/update!

Eine vielversprechende App mit guten Zentangle-Beispielen samt schrittweiser, verständlicher Anleitungen in Bildern. Eine gute Inspirationsquelle.

Can’t go back to main library
Nice patterns, but once I select one to view the steps, there is no option to go back to the main menu. I have to close the app and then scroll through again. Not good ui.
Features do not work
Not one of the features work in this app and I’ve been attempting to contact the developer to figure out why. My purchase is still in pending, which doesn’t make any sense either. I hope we can get this resolved because it does look like a very awesome app. I love Zen tangling and I’d like to add this to my other apps that I use. Hopefully I can get resolution.

Keine Menüleisten vorhanden
Was ist das für eine App ohne (hier in der Vorschau vorhandene) Menüleisten. Wenn ich mir ein Bild angesehen habe, komme ich nicht mehr zurück. Ich muß die App beenden, dann schließen und dann neu öffnen. Das geht gar nicht! Ich habe ja Geld dafür bezahlt!
Poor navigation
Upon selecting a pattern to see how it is made, and then deciding to go back to the main menu is impossible without force closing the app and restarting again. Shame.
Two major glitches
I have used this app for a while, but there are glitches. One is I can no longer move back to the page of tangle images. I have to leave the app entirely and start over. Another is that I can no longer see my list of saved tangles nor can I save others. This has become very frustrating.
Likely not compatible with new versions of iOS and modern devices
Unfortunately using iOS 18, on two different devices, any sort of navigation between the patterns back to the first menu is non-existent, meaning you have to force-quit the app to go back.
Problem with app
Just purchased this app. I chose a design and displayed the drawing details, but there is no way to get back to the home page. There are no arrows or commands on the page, only the design details. The app is useless. I’m running IOS 18 and wonder if it does not work with is operating system.
Not working
If you open a pattern you are stuck on it. The back button is gone and you have to open and close the app to get to a different one.

Just paid 4.99 for this app , opened it and it’s stuck on one pattern and cannot be closed or anything. What’s up with that?
Rip off
For $4.99, I expected more. I can get all of this on Pinterest for free.
Waste of $$
I thought this would be so much more than it is. It’s literally 275 small tiles of tangle designs - you click on a tile and can see very basic graphics of steps to create the designs. No words, no videos, no help with making a whole page of the design - just one tile and 4-6 images showing how the tile was created. There is so much free content online that is way better than this stagnant dull simple app. Not sure why it has so many good reviews.
