Hi,
I rarely do write game reviews. But this one has had me going for a few days now.
It ‘s a cool game that deserves many more users. But unfortunately hasn’t yet been successful in attracting enough traffic and that’s really sad.
So I decided to write something here for those who are hesitant to download it:
This is a Worms-style game, but in a pvp sense. You can choose out of multiple cool-looking tanks and different weapons and then paired with an opponent on random.
After a match starts, you and the enemy take turns targeting and shooting at each other. There are sometimes environmental hazards and obstacles preventing you from taking a straight shot and forcing you to implement different strategies. With each shot you take, you lose a bunch of coins. But if it hits the enemy, you’ll receive more coins! This is how it goes until one of you loses all coins or finishes with more coins than the other one.
Now, the problem with games like this is that some matches take too long. Tank to Tank doesn’t have this problem. In each match, you have a few turns to fight and defeat each other. When they end, the game speeds up, giving you less time for another few rounds and then, just ends the whole match. What this means is that each match won’t take more than it should and before you know it, you’ll find yourself playing 3-round rematches with your opponent to see who comes on top.
What is great about the game is that everything is really seamless. Opening the game and starting a session shouldn’t take more than 10 seconds and it’s so easy to send and receive game invites and even to join a match. And it’s as easy to become friends with someone you just had a great match with!
If you want my opinion, this is a great option for when you want to have a great time without getting sucked into bitter wait times and complicated mechanics. Definitely recommend it!
