Ok app, no widget feature
Ok app, however a key feature to a good UV app are good info widgets, to display UV index, current weather, and number of minutes before burn, get enough vitamin D, etc.
Register
Don’t require me to register an account to even get in the app. An app of this type has no legitimate justification to require that. I have way to many one-off accounts that should’ve never been required and have never accomplished anything for me. The only result is giving the developer another email to send knowingly unwanted solicitations to. Deleted.

Disappointed
I got this app in hopes to track UV to get a better tan and do it safely but when I got on the app and it asked for my location I typed it in and I guess Alaska doesn’t exist☹️
Bugs- but did love
Basically I use the is app ALL the time, and sometimes plan my free days around the best UV levels according to this app
But just recently in the forecast section it’s skipping a day. It will have “today” then the supposed NEXT day will be labeled 2 days away.
Example: “today (Saturday)” “Monday”
—what happened to Sunday??)—
I have no clue what the actual forecast is for the next day? Is it just mislabeled or actually missing?
FIX PLEASE!?!?!

Already subscribed
I have really enjoyed this app. UNTIL…. I had to reinstall it because it would not load. I had paid for the year subscription and now I have lost my premium subscription. Please fix the!!!!
Must have app for sand and surf!
This app is great and a must have for anything you do near or in the water or just outside in the sun! The sessions data function is great with the opportunity to make notes on the session completed. I’ve used it in the US and in Europe with no issues. The app version has been updated and now works perfectly with iPhone 12 and iOS software. It would be also great to eventually have a version of the app that worked with Apple Watch too!

Doesn’t load
When I launch the app it just sits on the loading screen and never progresses. iOS and the app are fully up to date, iphone 12 pro.
4th iteration failed...
I’ve had this app for quite sometime and for over a month now, since the “4th iteration, or attempt...” at updating to a 4.0 version I can’t even launch it anymore! I’m assuming it’s because I’m not a premium member and need a membership...if so, why offer it as a free app to begin with instead of just putting your lowest premium package price to START with for those interested in downloading to avoid over and over attempting to launch app and a crash right after the app launches? Anyways, I’m over it. Enjoyed it while I had it thus far but time to find an alternative app that’s dependable, reliable and launch-able....frustration free, just as yours once was. 👋

No Pricing Info!! Subscription or one-time payment????
Don’t know if the app is really useful yet, but this is app is a rip-off. Just downloaded the app. When doing that there is NO pricing info in the description. When you click on the “GET” button then you find out you are paying something, but you do not know how much.
Afterwards if you read some of the reviews you get another surprise THIS IS APPARENTLY NOT A ONE-TIME PURCHASE BUT A SUBSCRIPTION.
Given that so far all pricing information has been hidden, I bet that if it is a subscription model you will get charged again WITHOUT being asked if you want to renew.
It does not matter if the pricing/subscription is nominal, it needs to be clearly stated. I will be complaining to Apple too about this.

I’m so glad this app is back!
2019 Update: The BEST uv index forecaster is finally back! The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because this is my first day using it since the fixes. I live at the beach and will rely on this, as I have in the past, to manage and actually plan my time in the sun and tanning effectively for at least a week’s time in advance. Last year I had to downgrade my rating to a 1 because there were so many bugs it would not work at all.
2018 Review: Last year this app was great. It was the only app with a location-specific UV forecast for the days ahead. I tried to re-install it and I cannot get past the "skip" and "link to Facebook" options.

Doesn’t work on XS
Installed the app on new iPhone XS and it just spins the sun beam without ever opening.
Needs update
I used to love this app but recently it won’t load.... I sit on the loading screen for 10 minutes at a time with nothing ever happening

It’s a super cool app but I paid the $.99 for the upgrade and didn’t get it.
so inaccurate
says the uv index is a 2 when it’s clear sky’s, sun is shining at 2 pm and 95 degrees...
Change the bikini logo on icon
Ridiculous how developers didn’t think device can be held by kids. They don’t need a bikini woman to excite them. Otherwise app looks good
