Rural Areas Electricity Company (Tanweer) is an Omani registered shareholding company registered under the Commercial Companies Law of the Sultanate of Oman. Tanweer is the only company in the electricity sector in Oman undertaking 5 licenses, Generation, Transmission, Distributes, supplies electricity to customers and Desalinated activities in its authorized areas in accordance with the license granted by the by Authority for Electricity Regulation - Oman. Which is a vertical integration business.
