About

A quiet place for your hopes. Tanzaku brings the 400-year-old Tanabata wish-tree ritual to your pocket. Write a hope, a plan, a dream on a strip of coloured paper. Sign it, or stay anonymous. Tie it to the tree, and watch it settle among wishes from around the world. There are no feeds here. No likes, no follower counts, no algorithm deciding who deserves attention. Just wishes, hanging together under one sky. WRITE Choose from traditional papers in indigo, green, gold, vermilion and white, pick an ink style, and add a charm or two. A hundred and sixty characters - room for a hope, not for a speech. SIGN, OR DON'T Put your name at the foot of the paper, or leave it blank and stay anonymous. Blank means blank: an unsigned wish carries no name anywhere, to anyone. TIE IT Your paper flies up and settles on a branch, and it stays there. Close the app, delete it, come back a year later - your wish is still on the tree, exactly where you tied it. READ The Living Archive is every wish on the tree, searchable and built for VoiceOver from the ground up. Tap any paper on the tree to read it close. KEPT KIND Every wish passes an automatic check before it hangs. Links, email addresses, phone numbers and slurs are turned away. Anything borderline waits for a person to look at it. And every wish on the tree can be reported or its author blocked, in two taps, taking effect immediately. BUILT TO BE USED BY EVERYONE Full VoiceOver support, Dynamic Type throughout, Reduce Motion honoured, and a high-contrast mode. No account. No sign-up. No email address. Open it and write.

A quieter, better-kept tree. Every wish is now screened more carefully before it hangs. The screen reads past the tricks people use to slip things through, so the tree stays what it was meant to be: sincere hopes, and nothing aimed at anyone. You will also see the house rules once, before your first wish — a short paragraph, and then it stays out of your way.
