Why bad reviews?
Avoided downloading for a long time because of negative reviews, but finally did because why not? It works great. So much nicer than using the browser when doing TAO on my phone! The videos and interactive screens work so much better, and you can even minimize the videos so they play while you are doing something else like take notes in an online therapy journal. 5⭐️ for me…
UPDATE: Sadly, it only worked for a day or two. It’s started dropping, taking forever to load, more sign-ins (initially and more often while using the app) than the website. I’ve just stopped using it, sadly, because its benefits aren’t outweighing the costs. TAO Connect is great, but I’m back to using the website and not the app. I still think the app has potential if it can get to where it’s working as intended.

Outdated and poorly optimized
The app is very hard to use as it struggles to fit the necessary information on your screen. Not even easy possible to use which makes self help using said app quite difficult
Doesn’t start
It simply doesn’t start. It only shows the tech support email and nothing else.
Feels like it was the first draft of TAO ever made
The previous app worked so much better, I don’t know why they replaced it with this garbage. It’s so terrible. When you scroll all the way down you can see the bar from safari peeping up. Why did UCSD approve of this with their billions of dollars to replace the perfectly good old one
