Direct translation improbable
I really enjoy this Tao te Ching app. It gives me a bit of something each time I look. I acknowledge that translations differ and most times I enjoy the different perspectives.
Brilliant translation
A beautiful, refined translation of an ancient book of wisdom. I use this app in my tai chi and yoga classes.
Good translation
I find this translation really cuts to the heart of it. When I had an encounter with reality this version seemed the most in line with what I was experiencing.

Moving on to another version
This app used to have a random passage feature. That was excellent for a quick daily dose of wisdom. Unfortunately the author took away that feature so I am looking for another version to download. It was good for a period, but itβs time to move on as there are better versions out there. Thanks to the author for his efforts never the less.

Keep the Tao to hand
Having this lovely translation on my iPad is a great way of dipping into the Tao for inspiration and encouragement. This is beautifully done to convey a classic feel and yet make the material easy to navigate.

Lao Tzu's timeless wisdom
I have the physical copy of the Tao Te Ching by the same author, and it's not word-for-word the same, but that really doesn't matter. I use this daily to meditate and for when I need some insight. I've read several translation and this is one of my favorite ones!
Good translation but not totally free!
They say it's free and then some of the chapters are not complete because they want money! They should mention that in its introduction that full version is not free!
Lovely app brings the wisdom of the dao
One of my all time favorite apps. Easy to use and you can select a random passage from the dao or read it in order. So simple and so perfect in every way.
