Really Irritating

This App now only works with iOS 6

I have an iPad 1 that will not update to iOS 6 (that's a whole different balIgame) but I bought this App only a couple of months ago - that's bad enough but now, I also have an update for this app stuck in my update folder because it is an update for iOS6. It will no longer download - because my iPad cannot have iOS 6 and it cannot be deleted even after I have deleted the App!

At best, a poor piece of timing - at worst, a real con.
