Mehh. The old one was better.
I tried this as a replacement for Tap ‘n’ Pop HD bc that version won’t run on my new iPad. Boo. I’m going to delete it rather than pay again for a new ad free version.
1. There are balloons that are different but the colors are so similar you can hardly them apart. They don’t appear until you’ve played a bunch of levels. No fun, just bad design.
2. You have estimate the end of the level by a “meter” that fills up. I liked knowing how to end the level by seeing on the board where the pieces were that needed eliminating.
3. The “free” version is so full of video ads! First it’s after every other level, then after every level, PLUS a banner at the bottom while you’re playing. Makes it hard to evaluate whether to pay or not.
4. Tilting the iPad to rotate was not predictable like it once was.

Too many adds!
Didn’t even get to level 3 without having about 20 adds pop up during the game! Uninstalled it straight away.
Disappointed
Freezes. Cannot use any of the features. Doesn't really deserve one star. I don't know why they got rid of the previous one I was using. It worked fine.
Won't stay in landscape
Like this game, and play it all the time. I keep my iPad locked in landscape mode, and frequently (sometimes several times a day) the balloons get out of alignment. The only way to fix it is to unlock the orientation, and physically turn the iPad. This gets it back in alignment, but costs me turns.
Update:
Still haven’t fixed this issue. It’s been a year since my original review. With the new IOS, it takes two more steps to fix this. Not to mention I frequently end up using rotation turns that otherwise wouldn’t be needed. It doesn’t happen consistently, sometimes I can go a whole day, but the next day it’ll happen nearly every time I reopen the game.

Pretty much given up on this game because the landscape issue has never been fixed. I would enjoy the play, but the near constant need to fix alignment has gotten very old

Paid version but ads are out of control!
Ads are covering the content causing interruptions to the game.
