About
Make your TapTag do something useful - Share your world.
with a tap. Change the link anytime. No subscriptions. Ever.
FOR PHOTOGRAPHERS, TRAVELLERS & EVERYONE YOU MEET ALONG THE WAY
TapTags is a simple way to write a website link, email address or phone number to a compatible NFC tag. Share your social profile, help someone reach your business, or make your most-used link easier to open.
CHOOSE WHAT YOUR TAG OPENS
- Link: Add a website, social profile or other web link.
- Email: Add an email address so a supported phone can start a new message.
- Phone: Add a phone number so a supported phone can open its calling options.
WRITE WITH CONFIDENCE
Choose a tag type, enter your details and tap Write to your TapTag. Hold a compatible writable NFC tag near the top of your iPhone until confirmation.
TapTags checks whether the tag can be written to and whether there is enough space. After writing, it reads the tag back and verifies that the stored data matches.
BUILT FOR EVERYDAY USE
- Simple Link, Email and Phone options.
- Automatic formatting for website links, email addresses and phone numbers.
- Clear feedback when a tag is read-only, unsupported or too small.
- A clear button for quickly replacing your text.
- Light and dark modes.
UPDATE YOUR TAG WHEN YOU NEED TO
Reuse a compatible rewritable tag by replacing its link, email address or phone number. No TapTags account is required.
WHAT YOU NEED
NFC writing requires an NFC-capable iPhone and a compatible writable NDEF tag. NFC tags are sold separately. Reading behaviour depends on the receiving phone and the type of information stored on the tag. Opening a web link requires an internet connection.
