Was Great, Now Ads

I used this CONSTANTLY as a DJ. And now its just ads literally every 20seconds WHILE you’re tapping. They take up the whole screen. Force you to click. Its absurd, like why did the creators think this was viable

Timeless

I’ve had this app on my phone for the past 10 years. And I sometimes will go a year without using it, but when I need it, it works.

FAQ

What does Tap That Tempo do?

Tap That Tempo is a utility app that allows you to measure the beats per minute (BPM) of any song. You simply tap a button in rhythm with the music, and the app calculates the tempo using advanced algorithms.

How does the BPM detection work?

The app detects BPM by precisely measuring the rhythm of your taps. You tap along to the beat of the music, and the application calculates the tempo based on your input. It's designed to be faster and more accurate than automatic detection methods.

Is Tap That Tempo free to use?

The application is free to download and use, but it does offer in-app purchases. This means you can use the core functionality without paying, but there may be optional features or enhancements available for purchase.

Who would find this app useful?

This app is perfect for musicians, music producers, DJs, or anyone who wants to know the tempo of their musical ideas or favorite songs. It's useful for discovering song BPMs, measuring the tempo of new musical ideas, and for quick tempo references during music production.

Can I measure the tempo of multiple songs?

Yes, the tempo tracking automatically resets after customizable intervals, typically between 1 to 4 seconds. This feature allows you to easily measure the BPM of multiple songs or different sections of music without manual intervention.
