Great app very powerful tools

If you’re looking for a comprehensive measuring tool for existing structures this is it. I got this app for a historical window rehabilitation and restoration project. I’m a homeowner and It was fairly easy to learn and make all of the adjustments such as scale. I had a question about a feature I was stuck on and tech support got back with some very well explained answers for me and so promptly. I have so many more ideas for my home as well and I’ll be leaning heavily on this tool to help me out. I’ve been recommending this app. It’s so great.

“Multiple Validation Errors Occurred”

I was hopeful this would be as good as reviewed, but after paying my 8.99, I can’t seem to use this for anything. Took a picture of a door, and every time I try to do something all I get is a pop up with “Multiple Validation Errors Occurred. Using the latest IPad Pro, so pretty sure the error is not on my end. Disappointed to say the least....

Photo ruler

I just downloaded for 9.00usd and i watched the videos how to use and got to a photo then it just quits 18 times it quits i want my money back

Completely useless waste of money

I wish I didn’t buy it. I got it to help move into my new apartment and you still have to measure traditionally so why did I do this?

Hi CanCan The app is designed so you don't have to take measurements of everything, as other reviews point out it does do this job extremely well. The instruction videos are key though, especially the first one, (You can watch all videos and see all instructions before buying at the developer website at the app page in the App Store, and within the app at the "i" button.) For instance, having more than one surface in your view is shown, the requirement of measuring at least one dimension is shown (for each surface), and pretty much everything in between is shown in detail with all the videos. And extremely extensively with the pages of the written pictograph instructions.

Surprising

Works in hard to get to areas that I don't want to visit twice.

Not simple enough for casual use

I’m sure this a great tool for people who have a great need to take pictures and measure a lot. I just wanted to take a known distance and get other measurements. I’m sure I can, but I would be better off with a physical rope and walk the lot given how often I’ll use it. The learning curve has curbed me.

Hi Tv494, I've added some pretty useful video instructions, (both at "developer website" link near bottom of page in the App Store, and in the app at the "i" button) not sure if you saw them or not. They might help with the learning curve. But you are correct, this is a complex app, and I am always working to try to take that down a notch at ever opportunity that I can.

Awesome

I'm an engineering supervisor for a major structural steel company and I have to say that I'm stunned and amazed at this app. It's very accurate and easy to use. It's not often that an app such as this actually lives up to its hype but this one definitely does. So far this app has now become my absolute favorite measuring app. I ran it through a few tests and it works great. I plan to do more testing but I'm happy with the results so far.
I would like to see decimal angle measurements (even angles less than 1 degree) and allow us to set angle decimal place accuracy.

Hi Twitter09, unfortunately I don't think the google translator does a good job, it is difficult to check translations with any service that does this too. And more importantly, the best way to understand the app is through the videos, and that is a whole other level of "translation" needed. However If someone wants to help me with that, I would be honored to add the several types of written/spoken Chinese that are out there.

This app was a dream come true of mine. It contains the functionality I needed and then some. The use of AI to automatically calculate is spot on. Kudos to the developer.

Update makes it worth it

Added the things I needed including a magnifier and being able to type in dimensions, very useful and developer answers my questions quickly, well worth the price just for the support and updates.

Easy to make perimeters around objects, it is working well it makes it easy with the tools I am using.

Quick, accurate.

I get out a large amount of info which is immensely valuable to me, and with small amount of effort put in. little need for instructions , which is also valuable to me, great job. Great update too.

Interesting update very good this time

I normally use a laser pointer type of device with it's own app, but this app actually is faster to get info in. Now I use laser to just get one dimension, then this app does all the real work. I am pretty impressed so far.

Got for working on side project

figuring it out was easy, measuring was easy, changing measurements even is easy. Good so far. Love the this update and it's ease of use. support is fast and with great answers thanks.

Massive num of tools

Massive number of tools to work with, And I like how this is laid out. Glad that now with update I can type in an odd dimension, great improvement, I can drag out one when a surface is offset from what I am working on, that is an extremely nice addition.

Have both these apps now

Wow, really speeds things up, I've already experimented with this while on a job using the other at same time, and this one has been a god send. Very fast to get measurements in. Update has my feature request thanks developer.

The description and video in particular for this app shows exactly what the app does, however it is a complex application and one must read the instructions. As the app store description says, the final scale is the AI's guess and starting point for the dimensions, this "scale" is then easily adjusted with one "triple tap" so that all dimensions then are corrected to this updated scale, as per the first few lines in the "instructions" page. see the "developer website" on the app store for the entire listing of instructions and instruction videos.

Great app, one issue

App works great however when a picture is imported app puts a lot of assumed measurements on screen that gets very busy.... Need a easy way to remove all measurements if need a clean picture... Other than that very happy! 5 stars once that fix comes out

Hi Sean, you can use the "scissors" tool and easily cut out a full swipe of any set of dimensions you wish, with a single movement, also there is a "preference" in the main preferences to turn off the app's first round of dimensions, so you can drag out just your own dimensions. in addition to being able to adjust and drag out more dimensions on top of what the AI has provided.

Usable, Fast

The key for me is speed in doing this. This is making my work out at my projects quicker. Now if they could just do this for floor plans... Let's hope.
