You have to calibrate every single time and when you are measuring it just runs off even when you move an inch.

Do not buy

Rip off. After watching video multiple times still couldn't figure out how to use it. Center after it. Should be more user-friendly. Try something else.

Don't waste your money

Just bought it because I need to measure something hanging on my wall and the measurements it would give me were way off. Also it doesn't convert to inches and if it does then it's hidden in the app or the switchover just doesn't work. Don't waste your money on it. You'd be better off just buying a real measuring tape.
