Famly much much better
As a nursery app we much prefer Famly. Tapestry is very basic with clunky navigation and ugly design (as if someone played the layout pages in word doc). Very limited functionalities also, ie no interaction between parents, no sign in / sign out log, no photo tagging, no adding emergency contact / caretaker authorisation etc.

Not user friendly at all.
I’m pleased that they have added the care diary but it’s not user friendly at all, especially if you have 2 kids, and the fact you have to log in each time makes it a nightmare when I’m trying to update my own app with sleep.
The notifications for the updates on the app are very hit and miss. I feel I have to log in hourly to check for updates on my baby.
I’m really confused why it’s got 5 stars!

Very poor notification options on the app
The app’s notification system is very poor. Unlike other apps that send timely alerts, this one only offers basic badge notifications. It needs significant improvement to notify customers properly.
Languages
It would be great to be able to set this App to different languages e.g French and Mandarin

Pre-school
I love this app because I can see what my kids make at pre-school. 😍

I think this app is fantastic. I really enjoy being able to see what my child has been up to at school. Really look forward to receiving entry and I think being able to make it into a book at the end of their learning journey is just magical
Not being able to edit or delete

Error sign up
There no way of having to sign up. It has to place your email and password but I do sign up first?

If you are the parent or relative of a child and you are trying to login to Tapestry, the school/nursery/childminder your child attends will need to create an account for you, so we would recommend speaking to them about this. If they need any assistance setting you up with an account, please ask them to get in touch by emailing customer.service@eyfs.info
Delayed notifications
Great and easy app to use, however the notifications do come through a day late though, which is annoying.

I have been using tapestry for a number of years and find it very efficient, and easy to use. Thumbs up from me.

Tapestry is a important weekly diary for my grand son who is non verbal to show us what he has done in the week it shows us what he has been doing while at school and his learning development 😄
Typical
Like all these education sector apps, about 60 to 80% as good as a real app. Embarrassing if you were involved with development. Not one for the CV in my opinion.

So annoying
This app is logging me out every time and I have to enter my login details. But because I’m using it so often I have to reset my password where there are a lot of requirements.
Are there even push notifications?
This is good for keeping updated with the little one’s progress, however not having push notifications means I miss updates from the school as the email doesn’t usually come through until the next evening by which point it’s usually too late!

I love the pictures and information we receive from tapestry. It’s great to see what the boys get up to at school and really helps to interact with them afterwards knowing what they have been doing.
