ONE TAP TO TRANSIT DIRECTIONS Tap any saved place and Apple Maps opens immediately with public transit already selected and your destination pre-filled. Your current location is used as the starting point automatically. SEND A DESTINATION A family member or friend can send you a transit destination via iMessage. When you tap the link, it appears as a highlighted button at the top of your home screen — ready to launch directions with one tap. It disappears after you use it or after 24 hours.
