Love Disappearing Messages!

I like that I can choose which friend I can send disappearing messages to. Once they read them it starts a timer that shows the countdown for it to vanish or self destruct like Mission Impossible.

My Privacy is saved!!! ⭐️🫶🏼

Excellent. No screenshots and screen recording to keep what I share with friends and family safe. You guys really made the chat worthwhile by offering not only encryption from signal but a better user experience with disappear messages!!!

Private friends & family app

A private friends & family network app. I love that screenshots and recording the screens on tapp are blocked for privacy. I can finally see family and friends on my feed to help me stay up to date with them from around the world. I tried to use Signal to send a file to a colleague at work and it wouldn’t allow me to, then I tried tapp and it worked! With facebook whistleblowers and signal app snafu with trumps security counsel — this unknown app seems more favorable since it’s not open to the public and its made in the USA 🇺🇸 which I fully support. I also started sharing my location with my daughter so we can keep tabs on each other when she’s not home or if I go shopping. Seems like there more features that I’m starting to play around with when I have spare time and will let ya all know with a update to this review.

Privacy Matters

I was invited by my dear friend, John King, whose team created Tapp! I started to explore Tapp’s chat, posting, and events features, and what ultimately sold me was that I can invite only family and friends I truly want to stay connected with—without the public peering in. For once, people can’t search for me, and I no longer need my team to play referee. Congratulations, John and Tapp, for deeply caring about my privacy and safety. I invited my teens, my partner, close friends, and our families. I feel comfortable sharing videos and photos, knowing that I can choose exactly who sees them each time while scheduling a timer to the post.

Oh, and the private-by-default comments? Love it! Plus, I discovered the ‘pink screen’ feature when I tried to screenshot or record—such a thoughtful touch! Obviously, for those desperate enough to try recording with a physical camera to share with the press…well, that level of desperation is revealing, and now I’ll have an idea of who they are, lol.

I love this. You’re right, JK—no shaming, no bullying, no ads—just the joy of sharing memories and thoughts within my ‘circle.’ Again, cheers, JK! I’m here, along with the rest of my family and team, to support you and Tapp in protecting my privacy, my safety, and my freedom to share with those I care about most—knowing they’re the only ones seeing it.”

Bravo! Privacy as a feature.

So far I like the look and feel. Invited my friends and my two of my kids in college so they can keep up with life back home and each other. One of them discovered location sharing, so now I use that occasionally with my fiancé and my friends—found this especially useful during my business trip to London with my co-workers. I like the chat function since it’s encrypted and communicating with my EU android friends seems like a breeze. There are no annoying ads in the feed, just my kids, friends and co-workers—such a game changer! Final feeling is that I don’t feel like I’m doomscrolling and feel satisfied keeping up with my kids and everyone I’m connected to. Looking forward to re-review as I can see you guys adding more functions every month!

Friends Only

It’s great to discover this app through a friend’s invite. I feel like I’m in control of who to invite and “sorry not sorry” that not everyone that follows me on other apps are on here, just my good friends and my mom and nona. To be able to select who within my friends can see each post is AMAZING! I’m also able to quickly catch-up with my besties and mom without feeling overwhelmed in my feed. It’s not perfect, but I’m sure as they grow, more things will be upgraded. Love the design and things seem simple enough, it’s been 2 weeks and looking forward to using the other features once I grow my network here.

Finally

I’ve been sharing great purchases with friends for years but this makes it so much easier.

Wow.

Such a beautiful design! I’ve beta-tested this app pre-Covid and recently got an email invite to download this new version. I played with Tapp and kudos for making this more useful for me to keep track of not only just the things I want to recommend to my friends but also for things I want to shop for myself. I love that I can keep list private or to share other lists with friends. What’s amazing with this is that I can put all my online shopping list or wishlists in one app for a quick and easy way to find and access what I want to buy when I’m ready to make those purchases or when I think about that summer dress that I found a month ago but can’t remember which wishlist I saved it to online. Thanks for making shopping and saving easy Tapp!!

Doesn’t work

App doesn’t recognize my copied links so I can’t post

Response from developer

Happy 2021 @cmayet120. Thank you for downloading TAPP and letting us know about copied links not working for the links you've tried to "paste to post". Our engineer is working on improving the success of posted links, right now we're about 70% there. We will have other options in the near future for searching for products and copying products from the feed to your own list. I invite you to continue to help us out with any insights, comments and suggestions that you think can help us improve your experience on TAPP with an email to hello@tapp.group. These emails are important to us to better serve you and the TAPP community. Thank you once again for letting us know how we can make your experience on TAPP better. With Gratitude, John King - Founder.
