About
One roll a day. When it runs out — or when midnight comes — it becomes a single film on its own.
Tappie is a video diary you never edit. Your clips join as you shoot, and at the end of the day they finish as one video with a title card on the front. No timeline, no trimming, no export settings.
■ Two cameras
Camcorder — on-screen readouts and the texture of tape. Choose how long your tape runs.
8mm film — one roll, one fixed length. It follows the exposure logic of a real 8mm camera, where the shutter angle stays put and sensitivity does the work.
■ Film stocks
LUMAR 100D — crisp daylight (included)
NOKTAR 800T — tungsten and halation
GRAPHIT 100M — black and white, fine grain
AESTAR TYP 01 — faded green midsummer
AUTAR TYP 01 — nineties autumn amber
Every stock previews live on screen before you load it. It should look different before you buy it.
■ When the day ends
At midnight the roll winds itself. You don't have to leave the app open.
A finished roll goes into its case and into the drawer — that's where you name it, and where it moves to the Tappie album in Photos.
■ Limits make memories
One roll a day. No reshoots, no cutting anything out.
So you think a little longer before you press record.
