Also, if we have 2 wallets, on the first tap it would be better to ask us to choose which wallet/account first, then enter the amount and category. Adding notes along with it would also be great.
I’ve heard the same feedback from a few of my friends and colleagues who are using the app. Other than that, everything is really good. Great work! The app is very smooth and easy to use. Also, I noticed that a few basic icons/emojis are missing. Please consider adding them too
Really easy to use
Not a Free app, Fully Paid. Don’t Fall Prey To Instagram Influencer Reels
In this app u just log an expense for free and it gives u grand total of your spending for free.
Category subtotal or analytics are all paid. Exporting data is also paid.
Also there is no option to input date while logging in expensive. So if you are doing a backdated entry, u have to perform 2-3 extra steps for just choosing correct date.
Uninstalling & deleting my data from this app.

We'd like to clarify a few things, as there seems to be a misunderstanding. Tappy's core expense logging and complete expense history are always free, including logging through Siri, Back Tap, and widgets. Pro features such as analytics, budgets, custom categories, and CSV export are paid. Tappy has never been positioned as a completely free expense tracker. As for backdated expenses, we understand your feedback about having to change the date after logging. This is intentionally kept out of the initial logging flow to keep expense entry as quick and effortless as possible, but you can change the date afterward from the edit screen. We respect your decision to uninstall, but we wanted to clarify how Tappy's free and Pro features actually work.
Extremely Misleading “Free” App — Very Disappointed
When I downloaded the app, it was clearly presented as something I could use for free. I understood that there were Pro features available if I wanted to try them, but I specifically chose not to subscribe because I only wanted the basic/free version to track my expenses.
I downloaded this app specifically to track my expenses for a month. But after around 15 days, Tappy suddenly stopped allowing me to add new expenses and started telling me that I need to buy Premium to continue adding entries.
Seriously? If the app is advertised as free, why allow users to start entering their expenses and then suddenly block the most basic functionality halfway through the month?
An expense tracker without the ability to add expenses is basically useless. If there is a 15-day limitation on the free version, that should be made extremely clear BEFORE users spend time adding all their financial data.
This feels extremely misleading and frustrating. I would have never downloaded the app if I knew that the “free” version would stop allowing basic expense entries after 15 days.

We’d like to clarify this, as there seems to be a misunderstanding. Tappy does not have a 15-day limit, and we never claim that Tappy is a completely free expense tracker. Logging expenses and viewing your history are always free, including through Back Tap, Siri, and the widget. The 50-expense count shown in Settings refers to the Pro trial, which unlocks features like analytics, budgets, custom categories, and CSV export. We understand your frustration, but the 15-day limitation described in this review does not exist in Tappy. We hope this clarifies how the free and Pro features work.

Great expense tracker
I have some requests which would make this app much more useful :
1. If you could add income based entry also, it would be useful to compare the savings and expenses
2.pie chart representation of the categories , it would be useful
3.if you could add sub category of the payment modes - card , cash for the payments

(just one small suggestion - add a feature that lets us change the dates of our inputs. not being able to do so if you miss a day, messes up the average daily spend and is a bit annoying tbh)
