Taprail is a Naira wallet that sits on top of the bank cards you already have. Add a card, and you can pay merchants, send money, settle bills and keep a clean record of all of it — in one app, in the language you prefer. PAY THE WAY THE MERCHANT ACCEPTS Open Pay Mode, pick the card you want to be charged, and show your code for the merchant to scan. When a merchant sends you a Taprail checkout link, the order opens in the app: choose a funding card, confirm with Face ID or Touch ID, done. Pay Mode is never more than a moment away — it's on your Home screen, in a Lock Screen widget, in a Control Center control, and in the app icon's quick action. SEND MONEY TO ANY NIGERIAN BANK Transfer straight to an account number at any Nigerian bank, funded by the card you choose. People you've paid before appear as suggestions, so the second transfer is faster than the first. AIRTIME, DATA, CABLE AND POWER Top up airtime and data, renew a cable subscription, or pay an electricity meter. Recent purchases are one tap to repeat, and a Live Activity keeps you posted on your Lock Screen while it goes through. MEET ALLY Ally is an assistant that actually knows your spending. Ask it plainly — "Buy ₦500 airtime for my number", "Pay my last electricity meter", "Remind me to top up data every Monday" — and it drafts the action for you. Nothing moves until you confirm it. The Ally hub shows everything it is holding on your behalf: what it remembers, what it's watching, what it has done, and what still needs you. You can make it forget any of it. CARDS UNDER YOUR CONTROL Freeze and unfreeze a card instantly, check your PIN, review limits, and give each card a nickname you'll recognise. Card details are tokenized directly by our payments partner and never touch Taprail's servers. EVERY NAIRA ACCOUNTED FOR Activity is grouped by day with a full receipt behind every entry. If something looks wrong, "I didn't make this" opens a case from the receipt itself and freezes the card while we look into it. POINTS, AND FRIENDS Earn points from cashback and from friends you invite. Points carry a Naira value and collect in one place, with the history of where each one came from. IN YOUR LANGUAGE English, Hausa, Igbo and Yoruba — switch any time, independent of your phone's language. BUILT CAREFULLY Sensitive actions ask for Face ID, Touch ID or your device passcode at the moment you take them. New devices have to be approved, and account recovery is set up in advance rather than improvised. Connections to Taprail are certificate-pinned. GETTING STARTED You'll need a Nigerian phone number and a Nigerian bank card. Verification (BVN and a quick selfie check) is asked for only when a feature requires it, not on the way in.
