Love this game!

I love this game because it would be so much fun to be in a store and get to knock things down. The imitation product names are great! I would love to see a marshmallow fluff!are

Tostitos

Just a fun almost non thinking game to help with the frustrations of life, especially kids!
Tostitos because I love hearing the smash sound

Fun game but…

I love playing this game but in the left top corner it shows dollars that l have made so far but this this game pay out or are we suppose to use those dollars for the game?

Response from developer

Hi patty5419, love that this brought back a grade-school favorite for you. A canned luncheon meat item and other heavier products would be great for those solid, satisfying knockdowns. Thanks for playing and sending the idea our way 🥫

Fun to play

I work in a big food market and virtually smashing these items is very rewarding to me.
Let’s see some bags of chips any kind.

Fun!!

This game is loads of fun! Knocking down grocery items is too fun and funny! Would like to see things like bbq sauce, cereals, and dish washing liquids!

Smash

Fun!! Love the cute products and so far it isn’t so hard that makes you wanna stop playing. Mr Chips original

Response from developer

Sandi03, Mr Chips Original has found another fan! We’re happy the early levels feel welcoming while still giving you something to figure out. Hope the later shelves keep that balance going 🥔

Love this game!

I play a lot of “knock down smash” games. But this is by far my favorite. It’s not just concrete blocks and Tim pans. I like that it’s good that you buy in a grocery store. Plus they seem to be more giving in the amount of balls per game.

Response from developer

CowgirlinPA, this means a lot coming from someone who knows the smash-game genre so well. We wanted the familiar grocery products to make every setup feel more playful, while giving you enough shots to enjoy figuring out how to bring it all down. We’re thrilled Target Smash has become your favorite 🛒

Entertaining

So I had multiple games of this sort that you shoot something in both cans or whatever this one’s neat because it actually has real food products like spam and etc. that Pringles, but it said make a request in the review and they will post it. My request is Peter Pan peanut butter three different kinds of Peter Pan peanut butter creamy regular crunchy regular and the creamy honey. We’ll see if that gets put in there and if you download this game and it does, they will do what they say because I haven’t seen Peter Pan peanut butter yet I’ve seen Jeff but it’s spelled. GIFJIFI would like to have the Peter Pan peanut butter spelled correctly too.

Response from developer

WuKrazy, you definitely understood the assignment. Three peanut butter varieties is wonderfully specific! Our products use playful, fictional names rather than exact real-world branding, so we can’t promise a particular label, but creamy, crunchy, and honey-style gives us a very clear idea of what you’d love to find on the shelf. We really do read these requests, and yours is now with the team 🥜

Grocery Clerk

Whoever came up with this idea for a game… how creative!! I’m a retired grocery store worker & appreciate what a cute idea this is for a game…. So cute, so fun & so challenging. Thank you… Love It !!!

Response from developer

Bardeeeee, this made our whole team smile. Hearing that Target Smash feels cute, fun, and challenging means even more coming from someone who spent years working among real grocery shelves! We’re so happy our slightly chaotic supermarket brought back a little of that familiar world in a fun way 🛒

Super Fun Game!!

The game is is super fun and you can X out of the forced ads quickly… I like to see Ball Park Franks as a product to knock over!

Response from developer

Hi VDrums2112, love hearing that you’re having a super fun time with Target Smash! A hot dog pack would be a great shelf item, especially if it slides, flips, or gets knocked clean off the display 🌭 Thanks for the idea.

ADDICTING

The game is addicting and fun. I would like to see orange crush in a breakable bottle! Thanks for adding the soda. Would like to be able to change my game name from a female to a male character though!

Response from developer

Hi DJPJR, thank you so much for the fun review! Thanks to your idea, we added Orange Crush in the latest update, which is currently under app review. If everything goes smoothly, it should be available as early as today, or possibly tomorrow. We also added a variety of soda cans, including cola and energy drinks, along with some special interactions we hope you’ll enjoy. Thanks again for playing Target Smash!

Stock snickers

I like this game cuz it has lookalike grocery items we see everyday, so I would like to see some candy bars. Or beer, like Budweiser

Response from developer

Hi rknrllfn, that everyday grocery lookalike vibe is exactly what we’re going for, so this is great to hear. Candy bars would be a lot of fun on the shelf, and classic beverage cans or bottles could make for some nice topple-and-clatter moments too. Thanks for the ideas 🍫

Having fun

I enjoy playing this game it makes it relatable instead of being a clown or pirate like other games. It's like I can't believe how much this cost and this lol I'd like to see 6 pk of glass cola

Response from developer

Hi Fitzyloo, we love that you called out the everyday-store feeling. That “wait, this costs how much?” reaction is definitely part of the fun. A 6-pack of glass cola bottles would be great for the shelf too, especially with a big clink-and-crash moment when it gets hit 🥤

LEGO Dreams

I'm really having fun playing Target Smash. There's something so satisfying about watching and hearing the groceries that I buy regularly crash to the ground, knowing that I caused the crash. I just wish I could smash some LEGO kits.

Response from developer

Hi Occasional reader, this was such a fun review to read. That “I caused this whole shelf disaster” feeling is a big part of what makes Target Smash work. Building brick kits would be a hilarious addition too, especially with pieces scattering everywhere after a hit. Thanks for the great idea 🧱

Product

I really like this game. I get to knock down Totino’s chip dip, butter Twinkies ice it’s like so free. I can’t explain it. Add some peanut butter, some jelly pasta sauce everything to this I want it all.

Response from developer

Hi Cadeeja, “I want it all” honestly made us smile. That free, hard-to-explain feeling of knocking everything down is exactly the fun we want Target Smash to have. Peanut butter, jelly, and pasta sauce all sound like perfect shelf chaos, so we’ll keep those ideas in mind 🥜

Need a new product

Love the game so far, just need more variety. I’d love some kind of pasta, or maybe cookies. Even cakes would be fun for the mess they could make

Response from developer

Hi mimikaridee, love this list. Pasta, cookies, and cakes all feel like they’d bring a different kind of mess to the shelf, which is exactly the fun part. More variety is something we’re working toward, so thanks for giving us such tasty ideas to play with 🍝

Great Game

I have played many Smash games before, but this one caught my eye because of the graphics. The items move seamlessly and do not get frozen. It’s a great game to sit after a long day and relax. Please add Frosted Flakes cereal!!!

Response from developer

Hi RHZEDS, this was wonderful to read. We put a lot of care into making the items feel smooth and responsive, so it means a lot that you noticed. We’re also happy Target Smash has become a relaxing way to unwind after a long day. A frosted cereal box would be a fun one to smash, with flakes flying everywhere 🥣 Thanks for the thoughtful suggestion!

Shopping

Getting the deals

Response from developer

Hi kaibie3, thank you for the fun review! We’re glad you’re enjoying the shopping vibe and chasing those deals in Target Smash 🛒 It means a lot to have you playing, and we’ll keep working on more items and moments to make the game even more fun!

Cannon won’t work with Apple Pencil

I downloaded the game yesterday. It’s very cute and I like it except that I can’t shoot the cannon with my Apple Pencil. It works for the rest of the game, but just not with the cannon. I hope you can get that fixed soon. Thanks!

Response from developer

Hi KCFan62, thank you for letting us know, and we’re really sorry about the Apple Pencil issue with the cannon. We’re glad to hear you’re enjoying the game otherwise 😊 We’ll look into why the cannon isn’t responding properly with Apple Pencil input and work on getting it fixed as soon as we can. Thanks again for the helpful report!

No ads

I deleted this game because I couldn’t ever get ads to load so once out of coins game is done unless you want to buy coins but why would you do that because you still can’t get ads for extra coins just be waisting money. Game is fun but not fun if no ads no extra coins

Response from developer

Hi tkemp49, thank you for the honest feedback. We’re sorry the ads didn’t load properly for you, especially since that made it hard to keep playing without coins. That’s definitely not the experience we want. We’ll look into this issue and work on making the extra coin options more reliable. We’re glad to hear you found the game fun, and we really appreciate you letting us know what happened.
