Want to eat great local food and avoid the usual tourist traps? Are you a wine enthusiast that doesn't know Croatia makes international award-winning wines? Do you want to meet the talent behind the best local produce in Croatia? We'll help you to have fun finding them!
Group of bloggers gathered under the name "Taste of Croatia" set up an informal web site for sharing information and stories about food & wine in Croatia. This app follows up their website and makes a great tool for avoiding the usual tourist traps while traveling through Croatia.
The application offers a selection of the best food & wine points in Croatia. It contains pictures and short descriptions of the recommended places. There are also GPS coordinates, convenient for finding these restaurants, wineries or shops with a standalone GPS. If there is internet connection, directions can be provided through Maps application. If Wi-Fi is detected, app offers the user to refresh the data in its own database to keep it up to date.
Once downloaded, the application can work completely in offline mode and save user from high roaming costs in Croatia.
