One major flaw
This app is great and I would have given a 5* rating apart from a major flaw. I recently upgraded my iPhone (as I do every year) and transferred all my apps across except no data was transferred with this app which meant I lost 6 months of taxi fares & expenses! Luckily I still had the old phone and I had to spend 4 days of inputting every single fare into the new app. I sent a message via the feedback form asking if anything could be done but I’ve had no response and as the same thing might happen again I will no longer be able to use this app again after this tax year 😤

Hi H mundo, thank you for your feedback. The initial release of the TaxiMATE App was intended for use on a single device with local recording of your data. While it was initially a design intention to comply with HMRCs request for developers to provide FREE apps, the frustration it causes is not satisfactory. Our next major update will resolve this use and add many more features requested during the first two years of the apps release. While we have been quiet of late, rest assured, we have been intensely listening to users' feedback and plan to ramp up development of the app in the run up to Making Tax Digital!
