Scam/Not Accuate

Currently arguing with Apple about getting my $4.99+ tax back because the app said I’d have “forever” access to the service if I bought the app. After the 100 free uses ran out, I was cut off and prompted yet again to pay $4.99 for “forever” use.

In addition to that hot garbage, the “use my location” isn’t always accurate and several times did not pull up the correct tax rate for the area. I write quotes every day and I need the accurate tax rate. Started just using the free local government website. It’s more clunky, but better than this scam bullshît app.

Junk

I wish I had read the reviews before I downloaded this. I entered my ZIP Code and I got a pop up saying I had exceeded my limit just like the others had said. How can you exceed the limit of something that you’ve never used. And I’m not paying five dollars for something that I’ve never tried. Even though five dollars doesn’t sound like a lot it is for something that you’re taking a chance on. Don’t bother downloading.

Ridiculous App

Downloaded then deleted it right away. When first used it, it gave me a pop up messages that I’ve exceeded my use when I haven’t even used the stupid app once and to pay $5 to continue. Don’t bother downloading it.

First impression. JUNK

This app downloaded, installed. But that’s it. Tried launching it and all I get is the splash screen for about 8 seconds then it crashes

Scam

I've never used this app and the first time opening it I was greeted by a message stating that I have exceeded the daily usage limit and I'd need to buy the app. Convenient.... :-/

Disappointed

This app says 10 free lookups daily, but says upon entering my first one that I have exceeded my limit and have to pay 4.99 or wait until tomorrow....giving me no free lookups. DON'T get this app!

Needs work...

This app would be great it if offered a decimal point for more accuracy!

So close!

This is perfect. I work in national sales that require tax paid up front on all sales and need to let people know the tax amount quickly for their zip code.

But I need to enter exact amounts (ie $99.87) and I need to be able to quickly tell them the sales tax percentage I'm using (ie "Its $345.99 tax up front, with your 9.51% sales tax in Tennessee").

Can you add the decimal point? Can you show the actual percentage you used for that zip code?

Hawaii rates are completely wrong

Tax amount in Hawaii is based on Gross amount collected by merchant. So if the law specifies 4.5% (payable to the State), then merchant needs to collect 4.712%. If it's 4.0%, then merchant needs to collect 4.166%. Nobody ever pays 4.5% or 4.0%. It's always 4.712% or 4.166% depending on which county (island).

Almost there...

This app needs two things to be perfect for me. First, the purchase amount keypad doesn't allow decimal points. How do I enter cents? Second, the grand total isn't rounded up to the penny. Is anyone still using half pennies?

False app description

The description says you can enter provincial abbreviation to get tax rate --NOT! This feature is not implemented. I'm sure it works for zip codes, since that is all you can enter but don't state features you don't have!
