I used to use this app…
I purchased this app on June 26th, 2024 and for a while I loved this app with all my heart it made drawing and animating really easy to do and I can’t find any apps like this one. This app was also pre installed on my school iPad and I used it a lot and that’s how I got it on my personal iPad and from there I went on and started to draw my heart out. The application is still on my old iPad and still on version 2.4 of Sketches School. However the iPad is now broken and I was really sad letting go of it. I recently required an apple iPad in 2026 for my college classes starting up soon and got Déjà vu when I saw this app on the App Store. I went to go purchase the application thinking that I would be able to draw with no limits. The application had severe limits I used to use all the tools no problem but it’s now under a paywall or a subscription service. Please I’m begging the developers to give me access to an app that once had no limits of expression, I just want what I had with the free tools. I have the previous IPA and order history if there’s any way to get this app on this newer iPad without having to pay for the subscription because I was once a supporter of this app.

This used to be an amazing app, access to everything in this app and now you have to pay for a plan! I re-download this app to use the text feature on one of my photo’s and it told me to pay for a plan, i disagreed an I had one brush, one eraser, and verry few colour options. I would recommend to someone who likes art but doesn’t do it a lot and is not focused on getting better at art.

Please get rid of the pay to get more stuff. Are you playing this since I was in primary school and it was all for free. Please get rid of it!

Reason why I have it 3 stars
Good pensil quality sound quality is pretty good it just you have to pay for more tools which is the only thing that throw me off that’s it so that’s why I have it 3 stars

What lost its 1 star is it always asks me if i want to do a trial and every time i open the app it comes up with the trial question again.

I’m very unhappy with this app everything is VIP and it is so limiting on the amount pencils you use. Some things should be premium, others, not. Please can you make it fair and not make me pay for all this.
This used to be my favorite.
When I was in 2nd grade, this was the only app I had been using. I used to love it so much, so I enter the app… AND NOW I HAVE TO PAY!? THIS USED TO BE FREE! Definitely 1 star.

At my school we use this app now I have downloaded it on my own iPad it’s very relaxing I love to be creative and learn about art at the same time! Well it’s supposed to be educational and I really enjoy learning different art styles and I love to draw and if you like drawing I recommend this app. The only thing is you have to pay to get all the features.
