Well organized and easy to use
Thank you for developing this app, was definitely a great help in my stats class.
App not supported
It doesnβt give instruction how to perform so i waste my money even professor didn't help much on this application even he recommended for his students.
No directions?
The description mentions how complete the app is. You don't realize until you download it that there is no info on how to use the app. No, you discover that you must also buy the user manual separately. The app isn't complete.
I suspect math people wouldn't need the manual -- but I do, and I don't appreciate being "ambushed."

Can handle and filter larger at a sets (~10,000 multivariate observations)
This is the best app I've found so far, with Data Explorer as runner-up, to analyze large sets of data.
I run simulated loads against web servers and collect request response times (that is, how long it takes to "load" web pages). This typically requires analyzing data sets with 10,000 observations and around 10 categories (each category being the response times for different pages) and various load levels (the number of simultaneous users).
What sets this app apart is that I can set up filters for the data β looking at just one type of transaction or response times over or under a selected value β and get graphs or statistics on just the filtered data. Data Explorer has similar filters, but it seems to always include the entire data set in calculations and graphs. Unlike TC-Stats, though, Data Explorer will give me nice box-and-whisker plots showing response times for each transaction type (category) separately on the same graph, while TC-Stats can only show one at a tie,using filters.
Data Explorer's ANOVA is also much more useful (for my relatively simple needs) than TC-Stat's, but in general, most things that both apps do, TC-Stats seems much more sophisticated with many more options. And TC-Stats can synch all of your work with Dropbox which is wonderful!
TC-Stats is also much slower (which is okay β it's an iPad!) and has a klunkier interface, but the daa filtering makes it worth it. (I have also tried Stats Pad and StatViz for this, and they don't measure up for what I do.)
I do wish TC-Stats would label its graphs with the variables it's showing and include a summary of the selected options and the filter in effect at the time the test or graph are produced. The only way can find to include these at runtime is to email a result (e.g. to Evernote) and type in this info myself.
For now, though, TC-Stats has a slight edge over all the others for my needs, and it is really cool to be able to do some fairly substantial initial data analyses right on a handheld computer!

Hate it
Csv files on the iPad your having laugh. Difficult to use. The manual is long and difficult to understand......not helpful in many ways. Don't buy it.
