Website not good either

I like to use the TCCL website and let me tell you it’s also awful now. So bummed. If it’s not broke why fix it?? Can you please remove that awful red header that takes up half the screen and doesn’t move when you scroll?

Horribly Bad!

Bring back the old one, I lost all my books that I had saved that I wanted to read! Disappointed, I hate the new app!!!

Hate it

This new app is not an improvement at all. It is terrible to navigate. I get different results each time I search for the same title. Where are the curated lists of book recommendations? I loved browsing what would be releasing in fiction, nonfiction, children’s, and lists compiled by other libraries. Also loved the recommended book feature based on what you’ve searched/checked out. I used to browse the app so much it was like a hobby and now I dread using it.

Terrible update

The app and site were updated to a new catalogue that has lost many user features, loads slowly, makes title searches harder, frequently breaks and displays incorrect information, and has deleted any former user lists. I’ve gone from utilizing the app every day to dreading using it.

Regression

The new app will not load.
The website version is much less functional than the original. IT has never been a TCCL strong point, but this is ridiculous.

Not a fan of the new app

The new app is not as user friendly as the previous version and all my bookshelf items are gone so I have to start re-adding things and I don’t even remember half of what I had on there :( I just really liked how easy the old one was to navigate and get to what I needed, and it was easier to see what was available and what had a long line of other phone ahead of you before you placed a hold - you can still see that it’s just the view isn’t as simple as before IMO

The new version is not an improvement

All my lists were deleted, list and cannot be filtered. This was where I kept my TBR and notes on how long audiobooks were so I could know the length in advance. Super sad that years of work in curating that list are just gone and the new product isn’t even as good

App changes

The app has changed and it is absolutely not user friendly. Not sure what happened or why. I am a daily user for audiobooks and whatever changes were made should not have been implemented.

User-Friendly

It’s honestly not too bad. I like that the home page has all the info I need within a single click. From a perspective of inclusion, I like that almost every every option has an image or an icon paired with the word. This makes the app feel more user-friendly. I wish the TCCL library system tracked my checkouts for longer than when I “opted-in” but that’s a separate issue. 4/5 stars 👍🏻

Great App!

It’s such an awesome app. Super helpful and everytime I see it on my Home Screen I’m reminded to pick up my books on hold.

An atrocity

Wow. This app is a literal downgrade in every way imaginable compared to the Overdrive/Libby app. Luckily, Libby has a web app at libbyapp.com so I can uninstall this, but unless they remake this app from the ground up, I can’t ever see myself giving it a rating higher than 1 star.

App isn’t loading

I’ve tried various times this summer but can’t get it to load. Sadly, I deleted it for now and hope it gets back working again and on iPad also.

Not for iPad

Doesn’t work on ipad.

Thankful

I am so thankful to have this cooperative and easy to use library so close to me, amazing.

Can’t download

Previous versions of apps the library used worked well but we can’t figure out how to actually download and listen to any audiobooks. This is the primary use we have for the app.

Not for iPad

The previous library app worked well on the iPad. This new version is really just the iPhone version and looks ridiculous on the iPad. It doesn’t turn landscape, and doesn’t fit the screen even in portrait. It’s a fail for me

Looks terrible on iPad.

Too small.
