TCG Card Scanner & Value User Reviews

Top reviews

Not a free app

The app is one that takes your cc info for the free trial. Even with a reminder which is an option for iPhone at least I would likely forget. The cost is $49 per year. In case u are wondering. Have not even tried app though so no review.

Pricing is completely wrong

While the scanning and portfolio aspect of the app is made really well and it does a very good job of recognizing which card is which. The ai pricing is terribly off. With some common cards ive scanned being labeled as $75 when the actual price is more like $0.15. Great app if this problem is fixed

Very inaccurate scans for Pokemon cards

The scanning feature is very inaccurate for Pokemon cards. I can scan the same card 4 times and get a way different answer every single time! And it’s a big difference! (For example it told me that a card was 20$ then it said 14$ when I rescanned, then 25 cent the next time, and then 1.50$ the final time I scanned, the card scanner needs to be fixed asap, it’s crazy having to PAY to use the scanner and then it doesn’t even work correctly.

I clicked on the $.99 subscription and it tried to give me the year

This is obviously a scam if I click on the $.99 thing and you try and give me $39 for the year which by the way, the math doesn’t even math how is it $40 a year whenever it would be $12 if you went monthly $.99 you know $1.12 months out of the year. It’s clearly a scam.

Inaccurate

Gives a different value everytime no matter if its same quality

Price

Value of cards seems to be random scan a card multiple times gives drastically different value

Not worth the money spent on membership

The price keep jumping from a few cents to $30 - $75 per card so I became curious and went online to double check a more accurate price point and all my higher value cards were actually worth cents verse the $30 - $75 this app quoted me. I am unhappy that I can’t cancel the membership easily I’m having to go through so much red tape so to speak to cancel.

Not good

Inaccurate.

This is horrible

I regret downloading this app because you have to pay money to use a camera and see value of cards

Not Accurate

Sometimes I scan a card 3 times and it gives me huge discrepancies in value

Most inaccurate scanning tool.

Scanned the same card 7 times with 7 different prices. Told me it was $350, then $30, $0.30, $3.50. Seems like its just throwing random numbers. I was trying to scan MTG 1993 cards, kept saying it had whitening around the edges when they come THAT WAY!

Good

Very good

It’s a scam

I retook a another photo of the same Pokémon and it shows differ prices

Fairly mediocre, takes longer than just checking recent eBay says

In theory a very useful app, however considering there is no free way to use it (after the trial), it really doesn’t work all that well. It cannot, for instance, reliably tell the difference between YuGiOh card rarities, and it seems to be a bit unpredictable with the condition grade it allots your card. The value it tells you for certain cards is wildly inaccurate and will change with multiple scans of the same card. Overall fantastic concept, though needs work.

Scammed

They said it was a free 7 day trial and it charged my card the monthly fee anyways .

Works well but is wrong/outdated

Keeps saying copyright date of 2026 is in the future so it’s a fake card…. We are half way into 2026 get it updated that’s unacceptable for a paid app.

Worst Scanner Ever

The Prices aren’t even close to the real price. It also has a 7 day trial.

Scam

It only lets you do three times then you have to pay

False pricing

Said N’s reshiram Japanese holofoil nm was worth 200.00 dollars

Great but

It is a grate app one of the best just two flaws if you doing cards it doesn’t have in its system it doesn’t work and about 5 a day on the free plan
