# Notes for App Review The current build includes significant improvements across attendance reliability, security, notifications, messaging, and user experience. ## Check-in reliability * Improved BLE dwell-time detection with a stronger signal-processing pipeline to reduce false negatives and incorrect check-ins. * Checkout now re-verifies beacon proximity before completing attendance, preventing stale beacon readings from being accepted. * Added support for online (code-based) class checkout with a proper disabled-state user interface. * Multiple beacons can now share the same UUID and are distinguished by major/minor values, reducing check-in mismatches. ## Security * Device binding enabled: one account is linked to one device at login, with an administrator device-change request workflow and security audit logging. * Biometric (Face ID / fingerprint) lock now automatically recovers from server/client key mismatches, preventing account lockouts. * Added a complete forgot-password flow. ## Notifications * Implemented real push notifications using FCM and APNs. * Added an in-app notification center. * Stage-based schools now receive automatic notifications when a student is promoted to the next stage, and the home screen refreshes automatically. ## Chat * Messaging is organized into per-course chat rooms. * Supports targeted broadcasts. * Supports pinned announcements. * Supports term-scoped and archived course rooms. ## New features * Exam invigilation using QR code scanning. * Profile picture uploads with cloud storage. * Per-school (tenant) controls for Face ID and dwell-time attendance. * Added Stage-Based Progression Mode for schools that use fixed-stage programs instead of weekly timetables. The home screen displays **Sessions Logged (X/Y)**, and attendance is restricted to the currently unlocked stage. ## User experience improvements * Redesigned glassmorphic tab bar. * Improved Messages interface. * Reduced visual glow effects for better readability. * Clearer checkout button labels and attendance status feedback. These updates are intended to improve attendance accuracy, account security, messaging reliability, and the overall student and lecturer experience.
