THIS APP IS A SCAM

I filled out all the information-uploaded my ID-took a live photo. It said I would be verified within a couple hours-and NOTHING for weeks-I’m concerned about the information that I provided🤬 this feels like identity theft in the making

Still nothing-they even responded saying it takes just a little bit-weeks after that response-still nothing-how do we get ALL of our information removed? I want it removed-all of it

Potential

This app has potential. However in recent years with all the data breaches. I have a hard time trusting it. Maybe just a 3D selfie for approval instead of ID ? Also allow easy editing in the profile department ?I would feel more confident in it.

Was this meant for Tea Dating Advice? We use a high status 3rd party well vouched for ID verification company, Persona. They collect the data on their end. As for breaches, we spent a year on the app in development, thats not vibe coding, thats a fully tested app with E2EE. Not only that, I’m a red team hacker, if anyone knows how to set up defense it’s the ethical attacker team. We have honeypots, silent alarms, tracers, fake data bases, the whole nine yards. However, since you mentioned it. After Tea was breached we decided to rebuild. The new app won’t have any ID verification, anyone can join and we designed a system that allows users hold each other accountable, not by just flagging but by actually taking down posts and banning other members. Also adding online dating using the same logic
