Great app and responsive dev

This is a great app and I’m glad I found it. In my previous review I raised that there was a bug, and the dev immediately responded and the bugfix was available within a couple days! That’s really cool.

Response from developer

Thank you for subscribing, and I'm sorry you ran into this. You're right - this is a bug, not intended behavior. Removing a tea from the home screen used to work correctly; something broke in one of the recent updates. I'll get it fixed in the next release. Thanks for taking the time to report it - it really helps.

Sets brewing at 30 seconds

Impossible to brew any tea in thirty seconds unless you’re using a microwave uninstalled

Response from developer

Thank you for your feedback. The 30-second brewing time in the app refers to gongfu-style brewing, where tea is prepared through multiple short infusions (“steeps” or “pours”). In this method, the first infusions are intentionally very short — often 15–30 seconds, and sometimes even less depending on the tea. This approach is common for many Chinese and Taiwanese teas (oolong, pu-erh, some green teas), where flavor develops gradually across several infusions rather than a single long brew. The timer in the app is designed specifically for this style of tea preparation. However, longer brewing times can also be used depending on the tea and personal preference. Thanks again for trying the app and sharing your thoughts.
