Irish is not called Gaelic
You know it’s a sucky app when they call it “Irish Gaelic”. The language is Gaeilge. The app itself is poor, very clunky and lots of errors. Had high hopes. Very let down

You can’t even get in to try it before purchasing. Not worth the time.

Good learning app. There are many available words and the flashcards method is very effective. Learning this cool language is not that hard thanks to the vocabulary I learn with this app.

A little backwards
This app would be perfect except for one MAJOR downfall, I’m trying to learn Gaelic not English. Point being I can not look up words in English to get the Gaelic translation i.e, in STUDY, the words are in Gaelic. You can not look up “cheers” and get the translation unless you know what cheers is in Gaelic or any other word for that matter. Fix that and you’ll have the whole package.

How can you teach without sound, this app is not worth it without sound.

I hate this app. It's so hard to understand. All it does is say a word in Gaelic then an English definition and then quizzes you. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!
Good database of words but no audio
This has quite a few definitions and a very nice easy to use flash card app. However Gaelic is very difficult. And so when does need audio to learn correctly. This would be a great tool if there was Rdio pronunciations of the words
Could be better....
For someone who is just starting out with Gaeilge this app is probably not the way to go. An English speaking person will not know how to pronounce words properly as Gaeilge is full of consonant and vowel couplings which change the sounds of the letters. In order to improve the app, I would like to see an audio play back component which actually helps beginners to learn how to read, spell and orate the words properly by hearing them pronounced properly. However there is a large array of vocabulary which is impressive.

Lots of soundless words
It would be better with sound. Seriously, need to hear the words, not just read them. Also, a pronunciation guide would be helpful.
