This app charges weekly, but doing some quick math, that’s robbery. I did the “week free trial” and the app seems okay enough, but…gahdam… no, I will not be paying $3.49$/week for ONE language.

Also, just wondering, is this an officially sanctioned CBS/Paramount app or are we just making a buck off Mr.Okrand?

Don’t bother. It’s a scam to make you pay

Total scam. May the developers get nasty incurable diseases. This is an affront to the name Star Trek.

Don’t do it

Very disappointed. Very misleading app. Uninstalled it almost immediately. I had better not get charged 4 dollars after the supposedly free first week.

??? Bought app yr ago

Bought app and later they try to force subscription to access it. That's BS, you will piss off all future customers with this move. Make a way to access product w/o subscription. I will never buy another one of you products again. Yes! It is personal when I have to take the time to go through this process.

On second thought, deleting your app and will remember to lookup anything else I purchase on app store to make sure your stench is not on it. Keep the money. Losers

Actually, we made a major update and changed the app: the app is free to download now, but based on a subscription fee. We don't make users pay the app + pay a subscription. Hello slyfox2020, You can delete your app by holding your finger on the app on your main screen and taping on the little cross which will appear. Also, if you want to cancel your subscription, here is the steps to follow: 1. Go to Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions. 2. Tap Teach Me Klingon (or Klingon) 3. Tap on Cancel Subscription You can also go to Settings > [your name] > iTunes & App Store. Tap your Apple ID at the top of the screen, then tap View Apple ID. Scroll to Subscriptions, then tap it. Not bad, I like the test options

I use the tests to get a smaller vocabulary field to study. Sometimes when I guess, I get it right and the word is marked as “Learned” (or something)

If still under revision, maybe put an “I don’t know” option or make smaller vocabulary sets to learn for the tests

App has a bit of a learning curve, but overall I would say B+

A good beginning

A good tutorial on word memorization and pronunciation. I would like to see a way of flagging words so the student can concentrate on those words.

I good supplement for anyone serious about learning Klingon. I also recommend the Klingon Language Institute on-line course and Duolingo immersive Klingon language program.

Ugh

There is no pronunciation guide, which would be quite helpful. Also, "word of the day" is an option with this app. When notified you have received the word, no "word of the day" is available - just the notification. For me, this app is not helpful and quite disappointing.

Disappointing

This program translates klingon to English, but English. So if you don't already know Klingon, it's USELESS! Also, it doesn't have a player so you can hear what the words sound like. Useless program
