What's New in TeachBook
1.1.2
September 5, 2026
An update devoted to Home Screen widgets, and to handwritten notes that follow you from one device to the next. WIDGETS THAT DO MORE • “To-do” is now interactive: tick a task straight from your Home Screen, without opening the app. The tick is picked up in TeachBook, then synced. • “Today” now comes in a SMALL size: the time, color and name of your next three classes in one square. • The “Timetable” widget shows each class time next to the room. • “Next class” stays accurate in every situation: it works out your upcoming classes from your timetable itself, including after a weekend or a holiday without opening the app. YOUR HANDWRITING, THE RIGHT SIZE • The planner and the notepad scale your handwriting to whichever screen you open them on. • What you write on a large screen no longer spills over on a smaller one: everything stays visible, without distortion. TYPED LESSON NOTES • The expanded view of a class now offers two modes: Apple Pencil or keyboard. Both contents live side by side — switching mode erases nothing. • On Mac, where there is no Apple Pencil, the keyboard is offered from the start. FIXES • Erasing all your data no longer quits the app on Mac. • The “Continue” button on the What's New screen now responds across its full width. • Settings ▸ Data & iCloud now tells “last upload” from “last download”, shows your iCloud account status and surfaces sync errors, instead of a single date that could be falsely reassuring.
