About

TeaLoveTimer turns a good tea session into a simple rhythm: pick a tea, see how much leaf and water to use, and let the timer walk you through every infusion, from the first cup to the last. A LIBRARY FOR TEA LOVERS Start from 35 recipes covering the teas people love most: • Japanese greens: sencha, fukamushi, gyokuro, kabusecha, bancha, hojicha, genmaicha, kukicha, plus mizudashi and koridashi cold brews • Chinese greens and jasmine pearls • White teas: Silver Needle, White Peony, aged Shou Mei • Oolongs: Tieguanyin, Taiwanese high mountain, Dong Ding, Da Hong Pao, Phoenix Dancong, Oriental Beauty, plus everyday and cold-brewed oolong • Black teas: Darjeeling, Assam, Earl Grey, Lapsang Souchong, Dian Hong, Wakocha • Pu-erh (sheng and shou), rooibos and herbal infusions Every recipe lists leaf, water and ratio, then each infusion's time and temperature. Each tea page explains what to expect in the cup and why the times are set as they are, with sources: lab studies, a Japanese government tea manual and competition brewing rules. YOUR OWN RECIPES Customize any recipe, or create your own from scratch: your teaware, your leaf, your steeps. Mark favorites to keep them at the top and add your own notes. Hide the library teas you never brew. Copy your recipes as text to keep them in a spreadsheet, then paste them back in. SHARE A RECIPE Send a single recipe as a link, a file or a QR code, or print a label for a tea tin. Scan a recipe from a tea packet and review its leaf, water and brewing sequence before you save it. If you already have a tea with that name, compare the two and keep both or choose the supplied instructions. Your personal notes are never shared. A TIMER MADE FOR MULTIPLE INFUSIONS • Step through infusions with one tap. Gongfu sessions keep their rhythm. • Countdown, Count Up or Stopwatch, and you can switch while brewing. • Tweak the next steep with − and + as the leaves open up, and change leaf or water for the next brew. • Keep going past the last infusion; each extra steep is a little longer. • Brewed differently than planned? Save the times you actually used to your recipe or as a new one. • A calm, full-screen timer: an incense trail that burns down as the tea steeps. • A gentle chime when it's time to pour, even with the ringer off while the app is open. WHEN YOU WALK AWAY The countdown follows you onto the Lock Screen, into the Dynamic Island and onto your Apple Watch's Smart Stack. A notification tells you when a steep is done. ON APPLE WATCH Brew from your wrist, too: start a favorite or any tea from the library, set the next steep with the Digital Crown and feel a tap when it's time to pour. Favorites and your own recipes sync from your iPhone and stay on the watch, even when your phone is out of reach. ON IPAD AND MAC A sidebar layout for large screens and resizable windows, with keyboard shortcuts: Space starts and stops a steep, and the arrow keys adjust the next one. PRIVATE BY DESIGN No account, no ads, no tracking. Your recipes stay on your devices, and Reset App in Settings erases everything. From the maker of TeaLoveLog, the tea journal.
