Group projects don't fail for lack of tools. They fail between them: decisions buried in chat, three copies of "final_v3_REAL_final", nobody sure who agreed to what.
TeamGong fills only that gap. Keep your messenger. Keep your docs.
■ AI meeting notes
Record a meeting or upload audio. TeamGong transcribes it by speaker and sorts out what was discussed, what was decided, and what to do. Tap a to-do to make it a task.
Recording continues in the background.
Audio is deleted from the server once transcribed. Only text stays, shared with the team.
Couldn't record? Write the notes by hand. No AI is called, so no minutes are used.
Your team can fix any line the AI got wrong. The original is kept beside the edit.
■ Tasks. Who, what, by when
Two levels only: tasks and subtasks. Assign several owners and reviewers. Progress is counted from finished subtasks, never typed in.
Mark stuck work as blocked, with a reason, without losing its status.
■ Schedule
A Gantt chart shows the whole semester on one screen. Your calendar and the team's export to your calendar app.
Everyone marks when they are free. Tap the time that works for all to add it to the schedule.
■ Files. One latest version
Upload the same file again and it becomes a new version, not a new file. Older versions stay downloadable.
Leave "Reviewed" or "Needs a fix" on each version, so feedback on the first draft does not follow the fifth.
Keep outside docs, like Google Docs or Figma, as links. TeamGong does not open or share them.
■ Notifications only when something happens to you
A deadline tomorrow or missed, a mention, work assigned to you, a review request, a deadline moved, your confirmation cleared, a fix requested on your file, and blocked work.
Never just because someone tapped something. Mute a project and all of its notifications stop.
■ Submission
Before you hand it in, TeamGong shows what is left.
Your team picks which file version to submit, not just the latest upload.
Submit unlocks only after every member confirms. A new upload after that clears the confirmations and notifies everyone.
Afterwards, log who submitted, when and where, with proof. TeamGong does not verify that log.
■ Outside the team
Paste a one-paragraph status into your group chat, or show progress to a professor or mentor with a read-only link that needs no login.
■ Getting started
Sign in with Apple or Google. No sign-up, no new password.
The leader sends a link. Opening it does not add you; tapping join does.
Write one line or paste the assignment notice, and TeamGong drafts tasks backward from the deadline. Nothing is created until you press create.
Study projects too: pick an exam, and its registration dates and exam day land on your schedule, from a table a person checked. If your exam is not in it, the dates stay blank and TeamGong says so.
It also opens in a web browser.
■ How we keep records
No scores, no rankings. Only who did what, kept as a trail. In a student team, a scoreboard becomes a fight.
■ Pricing
Teams, invites, tasks, schedules, files, submission checks and share links are free, with 1 GB of storage.
