Best mobile game I’ve ever played.
Upon seeing the app icon of this game, I was immediately ensnared. As I read its description, I was determined to learn how closely it resembled Ace Attorney in terms of investigative mechanics and case cohesion, and I was not disappointed whatsoever. I deeply appreciate the visual novel aspect of Tears of Themis, especially in the main narrative and the Blossom stories. I find the future chapters (Sweet, Promise, and Dearest) to be rather stale in terms of gameplay and storytelling, but that is because I prefer having romance as a subplot to an overarching mystery narrative. The art is showstanding, musical instrumentals are appropriate and complementary (quite like the ambient instrumentals in Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom — never excessive or overpowering), voice acting quality is top-notch, and the story is compelling beyond belief. I enjoy playing casually with the F2P system, hoarding materials to upgrade/level up my cards to progress the plot gradually, given higher power outputs for the card decks. I would just say that it would be lovely if arrows were added to the Fieldwork locations, so as to make it easier to navigate between districts instead of having the player press the ‘Back’ arrow and renavigate. Additionally, doing your dailies can get tedious and mind-numbing rather quickly, so if you have disposable income, you may want to invest in the monthly fund.
Overall, a fantastic game. The characters are incredibly well-written and provide much fodder for pondering the four different temperaments and human complexities. Luke Pearce / Xia Yan captured my heart. If you play this game, I hope that you can beget some enjoyment out of it and conduct some meaningful reflections thereafter.

impressive ui & vivid storytelling (not for kids!!)
i returned to this game after a long time and am impressed with how far it has come since its first release. LOVE the user interface of the events, especially “island suspense”.
the chat design is like mystic messenger but better, however the texts come a little too fast.
i’ll be updating my review as i continue to play the game, but it’s definitely one of the best otome i’ve ever played because it doesn’t feel cheesy or cringe like some others. you can tell that the artists put a lot of time and care into the game.
however, this game is definitely Not for kids as it has themes such as drugs/suicide/murder.

Very Poor Programming
Not worth playing in 2026.
Ignoring how this game has always had major bugs.
From weekly missions end date jumping between Friday or Saturday. When I reported the bug the response was it depended on events. No other games weekly missions changes the day it ends cause what they consider what a week is doesn’t change! Fortunately, after months of the issue, they fixed it.
I told them that their health app event was broken. Even sent them a video of the bug and they forward me to suggestions that doesn’t even allow for video. Suggestions proceed to ask me to make a YouTube video in private.
They simply ignored fixing it and reused the poorly made event 4 times for each guy. I am so done with this game that can’t be bothered to test if their events even work!
They also can’t even make a survey correctly! They make a long surveys but if you stay too long in the survey. It begins to massively lag.
I feel so done with this game after I put so much effort providing evidence on the 3rd time that broken event showed up. Only for it to appear again with the same bugs. It is a simple fix but they can’t be bothered to fix their event after months. Just reusing the same broken code over and over again.
Absolutely trash programming or ai programming. Don’t waste your time or money on a game like this.

Great game
The game is great and love the romance but it’s kinda boring and not much happens besides events, main chapters and exploring. I love the game but you really need to make the game more fun besides a super long episode in a chapter. I don’t often play many games like this since I’ve played Genshin, Honkai Star Rail, HI3 and ZZZ but this game is completely different and the stories are way too long.

This game kept me pretty interested for a while. I’m not a fan of games that have you pursuing multiple characters at the same time, where it doesn’t seem like you’ll ever have the option to choose just one. It takes me out of the immersion, personally. Perhaps I didn’t play long enough but I got boted

One of the best art for otome games
Art for the cards are great. You get options with the LIs written so differently.
Main story and character stories are all consistent and easy to follow — more coherency than LADS.
Appreciate the romantic progression with male leads from friends to lovers to engagement to marriage. It’s very organized. Mihoyo has a thoughtful 5-year plan or something with this game, which makes love interactions much better than just random interactions everywhere. Im engaged in the stories even if writing isn’t like amazing. Events are usually fun too. Sometimes a miss but there’s usually something new to look forward to.
Only cons: I feel like you reach end of game content after a year or two… I’ve been playing for 4 years I think. Many players leave and return when there’s nothing to do in game, especially when the event isn’t interesting or involving your main LI. And the wish currency, tears, are LIMITED. They’re most stingy I think out of all Hoyo games. The grind is real for F2P to afford gacha cards.

絵の綺麗さに引かれてダウンロードしましたが、チュートリアルで断念しました...
ゲーム画面に基本的にずっと主人公の顔あり立ち絵が出てくるので自己投影派の私には辛かったです。
※ホーム画面、ゲーム中、ストーリー内で立ち絵が出てきます。ホーム画面はチュートリアル直後では変更できず、主人公がずっといます。
非表示にする機能があればと思いチュートリアルを進めましたが、非表示にする機能もなかったため、泣く泣くプレイを諦めました...😭😭😭
自己投影派は立ち絵ありの状態でも自己投影できる方でないと辛いかもしれません。

일단 픽뚫은 없습니다. 그 대신 100뽑이어야 확정이긴하지만…
또한 스토리 대사가 초반부에는 오글거리는 부분이 있지만 후반부에 가서는 괜찮아집니다.(제가 익숙해져서일수도)
그리고 캐릭터들 옷이…지금 앱 간판얼굴? 이라고 해야 되나 저분이 옷을 날티나게 입을때가 있는데 시대를 퇴화한듯한 옷이라는 생각이 듭니다.(그리고 캐릭터들의 얼굴이 조연에 비교하면 얼굴이 커요…) 또한 백은후라는 캐릭터가 강하게 웃는모습? 을 자세히보면 사팔뜨기 같다는 생각을 지울수가 없습니다…(물론 다른건 괜찮습니다.) 그리고 스토리 뒤로 갈수록 조연 캐릭터의 돌려막기(생긴것만 같음) 또한 그리기 귀찮은건지 실루엣으로 보여주는 조연도 있습니다.
하지만 스토리가 탄탄한데다 방송을 볼때마다 짙어지는 다크사클이 보여서….화이팅하세요……..

this game was my favorite. It means so much to me, I enjoyed this game from hoyoverse.. I have many good memories from playing, but stopped after it got too difficult to win with select cards without purchasing stronger ones. this game is good, but difficult for f2p. thank you.

fun for a bit
i love the game, dont get me wrong. i have merch of marius (the loml) but its hard to progress and farm after a while!! after doing personal stories, temple of trials and such, its hard to gain more s-chips without spending actual money. i paid £10 for s-chips so i coukd finally progress after a week!! i quit because of this. without using schips to upgrade your card power the game is pointless. you cant do anything.

As an otome game, Tears of Themis is one of the best out there. It's a "self-insert" game, but the MC is still shown as a hard-working individual with a personality of her own. You have four love interests to choose from, and all of them have their own unique personalities and quirks.
Not to mention, the gameplay is captivating on it's own. The setting of the game is a law firm, with you (the MC) working as a lawyer. The main storyline isn't centered around romance, but rather the numerous criminal-law cases the MC and love interests deal with and the complexities of solving the cases.
The storylines for individual guys are instead found in the cards, which are pulled through the game's gacha mechanic (of course it's not a HoYoverse game without a gacha). You can pull for specific Love Interests in the gacha where the romantic interactions between the MC and the love interest are portrayed.
You use these cards to battle, where you can earn rewards to upgrade your cards, and wishes to pull more in the gacha.
There are micro-transactions available, but the game is still largely playable as F2P. The events are doable without spending money if you play consistency, whereas the spending money would come in if you wanted several copies of a card.
Overall, I rate this game 5/5 because it is entertaining and has beautiful art.
The community for the game is largely supportive and wholesome, and there is also "irl" merch available of this game which is super super cute ;)♥️
