Balances Use and Privacy Perfectly
As an advocate, this app is the perfect balance of utility and protection for survivors. There is a wealth of information to educate and begin taking steps to protect oneself. But it does not cross the line into becoming a 'how-to' manual for those who would use a person's account or devices to do them harm.

Very helpful!
I believe that this app does a fantastic job of providing information while upholding the importance of safety of survivors. When it comes to technology facilitated abuse, it's critical that the safety tips/tools don't become a "how to stalk, harass, and abuse" guide. I highly recommend this app - especially for folks working in sexual and domestic violence.

Very good info primer but...
No practical information for how to configure a device to reduce the impact of abuse.
I expected practical device related information like:
- how to configure my phone for use while someone is trying to abuse me with calls and text messages
- how to configure a device to allow a line of contact for custody communications but reduce the impact of obsessive behavior related to text and phone calls.
- how to ensure my location info is not being broadcast
- how to configure social media accounts to protect against unwanted stalking and advances
- how best to document abusive behavior
- other practical device settings
I wanted to register fewer stars in this review but I also understand that for some folks this information but be extremely new and valuable so I do not want to detract too much.
If you are being abused and truly have no info this app provides good, basic info so it's valuable. But you will need to seek out other sources for additional (aka real) help. I think people don't realize how debilitated an abuse victim can be and practical and immediate self-help info is not always enough.
I'd just really like to see info in this app that gives the user configuration settings that can help them right now.
Consider that a suggestion for improvement.
